guys, just saying hello after a short defection. i had a black on tan 07 tl base that i absolutely loved. but on a whim i traded it for 07 white on black with red inserts s2000. it was a great car, but after a year of owner ship and no trunk space, a slit roof and stolen seats and a 6 month battle with insurance to fix it right i decided to come back to the tl fold. i just traded the s2000 on an 07 silver on black tl type s. i absolutely love it. but i had to remind myself on the first on ramp that the tl-s is no light weight s2000! scarey there for a moment.

i have already found good info in here about the tl-s, like the tighten gas cap warning light. thanks. i'm making a short list of stuff to take to acura in the next few weeks to get taken care of since its still under the factory bumper to bumper warranty and thats one of them.

by the way, i know this is no s2000 but the front suspension feels overly soft and floaty. are there any issues with that or has anyone else had that problem?

Congrats! I don't recall anyone complaining about the UA7 suspension being "soft" or "floaty".

 

Welcome! I was on the same route had 07 RL that I modified then traded with 09 S2000 then back to 08 TL-S.
