New Year was a good time, but nothing crazy. Wifey and I wanted to go for a nice fancy dinner, but we were much too slow on getting reservations anywhere this year, so we ended up going with a group of friends to a pub instead No new house projects. Well. Kind of. But nothing major. I want to entirely tile all four walls of our guest bathroom in a mosaic tile of some kind. I need to make the laundry room work better- I'm going to hang another wall cabinet, build some shelves between the two, and make some hanging rods off a couple walls in the room too. I will also do the garage lighting, build a garbage/recycle storage bin to hide stuff beside the house, change some of the front/side landscaping (add some trees, a bit less grass, whatever else), finish the back yard landscaping (remove grass for a pathway and for a firepit area, get a shed and move stuff out of the garage, likely replant some trees because I think a couple are terrible looking), redo the entire stair landing in the garage, restain the front door landing, paint the back door and lights, MAYBE build a pergola over a portion of the deck, Paint the front door a different color, Add some character to the foyer (no idea what or how yet), maybe remodel our spare bedroom and... that's all I can think of at the moment. Stuff always comes up though. Obviously I can't do the outdoor stuff until I defrost and am at room temperature, but I've got enough small projects to keep me going for 2017. By the end of it, I don't think there will be a square inch of our house that I haven't somehow altered

Oh, I don't do any of that stuff. When I say "I'm doing", I actually mean "Mexicans are doing"

I swear, it's so hard to find good, reliable, hardworking, free labor these days. Everyone just wants, wants, wants.

Once I get my hands on a shed in the spring, I'm going to take down all my hand tools (various shovels, rakes, ice pick, etc) down and replace the stuff with some car "art".
After doing some digging around, I've decided to put up blueprint shots of each of the more enjoyable cars I've ever owned (most being old school Hondas lol). I haven't been able to find all the drawings I'm looking for, but I've found a place that will draw one for you, for any specific car, for a nominal fee. For example, I can find blue prints for a 370z, but I can't find one specific for a 2015+ Nismo.
I'd ultimately like to get them all framed, and I can get them printed in sizes up to 36" x 24". I won't go that large, but this is what they'll ultimately look like (with a placard for each)- this one, obviously being an RL, but you get the idea:

NB Unemployment rate is at 10.3% FML.
Im literally applying everywhere, if I have to leave so be it lol
Theres a massive facility being built here though for waste water treatment and also a huge marijuana production facility will be up and running in 2017 and they stated once it goes full recreational they will be able to employ over 600 ppl. So things are happening here but I can't afford to keep waiting and not making any money lol

jeff-eh, have you started going door to door offering to shovel peoples driveways and sidewalks for loonies?
Maybe you'll meet an executive that likes your drive and entrepreneurial spirit and they'll hire you to make them coffee or something.
Plus you'll make a few seal skins in the meantime and you'll get swole AF from all the man ual labor.
Think about it.

Go door to door offering to be somone's $10 punching bag?
so shoveling should be extra easy then!
also, you have a great, positive attitude...
keep that up Jefe and it'll pay off in dividends.

oh,
"shovel each other's driveways" wasn't a sexual euphemism?
