I've seen a few photos of your car, but to be honest, pictures can be VERY deceiving. I Don't care as much as how the overall car looks (well I do, but...) I'm interested in the up close detail of it. I wouldn't expect you to post close ups and be like "check out this imperfection!!" Anyway, I'm debating what to do.
The link is for their spray shield (like 3M film in liquid form, but check out their other products). its like plastidip (bleh), but it can be wet sanded, power polished, etc. Basically acts like real paint, but is ultimately removable. Also, you can get gloss colors unlike plastidip. My car body is in good shape, save for maybe two or three very minor dents that I will get pulled via PDR. I need to repair a front fender also, where brake fluid destroyed the paint and ultimately started to rust. It's not bad, but it drives me bonkers. Thank god it's a front fender, so the cancer can be controlled with ease.
Anyway, just considering my options. Their products seem almost too good to be true. I'm not really interested in changing colors either. I have no timeline for doing this. Maybe a year from now, once I get everything else to my satisfaction with the car. The TL isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. I have the Nismo to do whatever with.

For that stuff I'd rather just kinda sit in the corner and watch someone else change my wife's timing belt.
Yeah, I've found that over the years, I've started to enjoy it more and more when someone else works on my car.
I'll take it to random places and let a new mechanic get under the hood and diddle around while I sit in the waiting room and peek through the observation window.
Although, some times I'll sit in the actual bay when they're doing the work and have them spray the used oil all over my face. But whatever I do, I'll make sure they show me the dipstick all covered in my car's oil when they pull it out.

Who will find it so arousing that all this car talk has been discussed within 2 pages of the 1000 pages he has scrolled back in hopes of finding relevance.
Every few years, I like to go log back into my account on FreshAlloy and see if they're still talking about modding and driving the 240SX. And you know what? Those loosers will *still* be discussing the same things as when I was last there.
I call them out on it, but they don't seem to understand my superior intellect. Plus it doesn't matter anymore because I've moved on and drive a more luxury vehicle now.
