Well, I chose my words wisely and didn't do any name calling.
You didn't. Again...
I meant, a good way to hang a TV wasn't to hope for the best and turn on the water after praying it wasn't leaking. That's all.
I'm sure there are many ways to get it done right.

Oh, I thought we were past that already. Flip just needs to stop using his stud finder on himself.

Fuck, Blue M3 isn't a pretty carfax...but MAN...watching E46 vids on youtube, clean pictures and supposedly all the things including the subframe being handled already are still tickling my fancy. The idea that I could have an iconic racecar that can ALSO fit a car seat in the back is VERY tempting to me!

dont hang the tv until after... Just the wall plate and the two anchors holding it to the studs. If that goes all good, proceed from there.

Either way...

im actually thinking about the scope cam myself... Not necessarily for just walls, but there always seems to be that super tight area you're trying to see into but can't, for whatever reason... I wouldn't buy it just for the tv hanging... But to have it around for general purpose use could be handy.

1) lots of owners
2) light accidents (no airbags) 2004/2008
3) lived in NY/NJ and Philly in addition to FL...some owners were probably snowbirds.

Scope was on amazon for $12...mainly got it for looking for dropped bolts in engine bay

Lots of owners... Hmmm... Kinda like the NSX. Some of those have been through 7-8 owners.

I think maybe people want one but once they get it, they realize it isn't as practical as they hoped and sell it? Or more expensive then they expected, beyond just car payments? I can see the worry about it, but if the current owner has had it for some time, I'd be less concerned. If he had it for a year or less, hmmm....

Ahem, you probably should hold off on buying that scope, That's good money that can be put towards car parts!

Yeah, I decided to be less of a dick.
I get what you're saying too...most of these aging "racecars" have lots of owners...S2000 included...
that alone isn't it...
it's modded (tastefully) which makes me scared because of the blue TL...it's also been up North although if previous owners were true snowbirds they came to FL when it was nice out and returned after the snow.
I'll take a very close look!

Thing is... I know the clutch has been an issue for about a year now... but really didnt want to go through with it. so once other shit started popping up, I just ignored it. Clutch was more important. And here I am now, wondering what to do still. Fucking dummy.

I'm thinking I can likely do the other stuff a bit cheaper, here and there. It's the clutch and body work that are messing up my life. Something tells me to let the body just turn into a hooptie. Just don't give AF. But I find that hard to do.

Oh first world problems

adam, I wouldnt even bother with the navi.

As far as the body work goes, I know you dont care if the TL looks perfect so why not just do that on your own.

Honestly id just fix the clutch and starter and just keep driving it she blows up lol.

Im thinking when my AT goes that ill do the swap. I plan on keeping the car so why not is how I feel about it. But at the rate I drive the AT will still go for another 10 years lol

I gotta do the navigation.... I can't do anything now because of it not working. Can't change the clock, can't adjust sound (besides volume), can't change any settings, cant enter security code if i ever unplug the battery, etc. it's fucking annoying. Everything is fed through that screen and if the DVD player doesn't work, none of it does.

Not interested in a tablet install either. It's a hack job at best, likely more expensive than the $225 navigation repair, and it would drive me bananas to have non functioning buttons on the dash (hey kind of like I have now! )

Just finished talking with Wifey. She told me to start tackling shit slowly. I'll do a couple small things first and then move on to the CSC/CMC. Hopefully that fixes the clutch issue and I won't have to replace it. It's not like it's slipping

Yeah it's been done. It's a fairly involved swap and it isn't necessarily cheap, but a few members did it successfully. There was a whole shit show that erupted a couple years ago between 2 guys on here. 1 guy, Frosty, wanted his car swapped and used the services of another guy and it didn't go so well... turns out Frosty was a piece of shit and a liar about many things so we chased him out of AZ. The other guy, Paul I think it was, wasn't totally innocent either. He ended up getting banned too

navi repair 225
retint windows 400 (this I'm guessing, but probably not far off.. Tint is fading to purple. Bleh)
brake shoes for ebrake 80
APP sensor 250
tranny drain and fill 3x3 150 (using GMSMFM)
new rear window motor replacement 175
probably add engine/tranny mounts in there... Haven't even looked into those yet.

Plus... Where Justn was right... Him and I had a long stupid argument about brake fluid on paint. I argued it to no end, because after my brake line burst, I end up getting fluid all over my fender. I wiped it up as soon as I could and it was fine for several months... Fast forward 10 months later, and the clear is peeling and the fender started to rust. FUCK. I also had some minor damage on the rear quarter, near the bumper. It's not terrible, but the paint is scratched and not repairable. I was quoted about 2k to have it all fixed properly. I could do without that, but the fender repair will easily be $800. Or I just roll on dirty.

So, yes, Justn, you were right and i was wrong and I'm a dirty whore sausage eater and I'm sorry for arguing with you. Oddly enough, that brake fluid also covered my rim when the line burst and it seems to be holding up still.
Im pretty sure I remember thst brake fluid argument and sided with Justin too

Rubbing it in (off)

Fuck the navi, don't use it or nexus 7 install... Fuck tint.

Wait.. you argued that bf wouldn't ruin paint?

Also.. what starter are you getting that costs $350?

Also.. whytf are you planning to do a 3x3 when you have a Manny? That's a total waste of fluid.

Also.. what fucking tint job costs $400?!

Also.. that's not $6k..

Kinda like giving advice to not worry too much about damaging piping because you *might* not probably damage anything but turn the water on after and check if you did...
but the reason you said it was cause you were giving the guy asking for the advice to begin with the benefit of the doubt because of some magical experience he probably has and also you're an expert that went to college because you've wrecked/demo'd 3 houses.
