Gawwww! Little PJs are mad cute!
Oh, steal as many of those swaddling blankets as you can from the hospital. For some reason, you can't seem to buy any quite as good as those.

Another one for good measure:
She(?) is fricking adorable. Like cul0 I don't usually fall in love with newborns but she's a special one. Probably because she reminds me of her dad

dang... when the housing market crashes, buy a few properties. What goes down, must come up. Rent them in the mean time. Easy money when it comes time to sell.

Sigh... put the Miata away into storage yesterday.
Gave it a good cleaning, changed the oil, put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, trickle charger on the battery, steel wool in the exhaust pipes.
I wanted to leave the car on jack stands, but with the way I parked in the garage, it would have been impossible. It's tucked about 3 inches from the wall on the passenger side and there's no way I could jack the car from the back. I just over inflated the tires to 40 psi and I hope that suffices to keep flat spots from forming on the tires (stock is 29 psi). If they do end up with flat spots, I'm not too concerned... I want to toss those tires and buy new ones in the spring. They suck.
I also don't have a car cover this year. I know I'm going to regret that, but oh well. The paint will receive a nice and proper correction in the spring, so I'm not too too worried.

Can't you just hulk the car up with your bare hands? It can't weigh that much
Also why the steel wool ? I'm not familiar with winter storage... #californiaproblems

It's overkill in my opinion. You put the steel wool in the exhaust pipes so that rodents don't start nesting in there. I had a bunch of steel wool left over from polishing exhaust tips (I needed one piece but had to buy a bag of 10 ), so I figured I'd throw some in. You use steel wool so that the rodents don't eat it. And if they do...

And you're def going to regret not having a car cover. Paint correction not so much but the dust man...

As for dust on the exterior... meh. Living in a construction zone of a neighborhood, there is dust EVERYWHERE. Also part of the reason why I didn't do a paint correction this year. I wouldn't get to enjoy it much anyway, lol.
As for moving the car back and forth, it's just kind of a pain and I'm lazy, lol. Again, if the tires do get flat spots, I'll be tossing them anyway. The tires suck big time. I don't want to start the car in the winter just to move it a foot. I could let the engine warm up, but it's doing it at idle and as such, likely building up carbon on top of the pistons unnnecessarily. Moving it in neutral is a possibility, but not exactly pleasant when it's -30 outside (probably still -10 in the garage). I'd rather just have it sit.

Well... the dust is part of owning a convertible. Driving for 15 minutes with the roof down and there's already dust everywhere inside. It's unavoidable. I carry a microfibre in the side pocket at all times because everything gets dusty after a single trip.

On a random note I enjoy reading the multiple threads that have been popping up lately regarding getting the TL to that magic 300whp.
Do the guys that buy these cars realize it ain't cheap if they want that? Like oh, Acura must have forgot to unlock the power because they were in a rush to get the car out. Better flick the 50 extra whp switch on by removing a muffler and putting a CAI.

Who said anything about color? The day a baby is out of the womb, they seldom keep their eyes open. When they do open their eyes, they appear dark and glassy. Most parents and medical professionals couldn't tell you a baby's eye color until later. Although I forgot TB is our resident baby expert, neonatal opthamologist, did eye exam on friend's babies right out of the womb.
