They won 5 emmy's for one of their shows...this was the reward. I had to sign out and add it to cart to see that, so I plan to chat with someone and see if they'll honor it and give me prime for a year from when our membership ends.

I love the internet
Technically, this special discount is only valid for new members, but if you are already signed up you can still buy a gift subscription and email it to yourself. Then you have to cancel auto-renew on your existing Prime membership and wait for it to expire, so you can then use the $67 gift code for another year of Amazon Prime

Hmm. Interesting. That is a very strong conflict between my innate cheapness and my crippling laziness.
I *want* to save the money, but I'd need to actually *do* something.
Ah, but this is where my secret weapon, procrastination, will come into play. I'll just forget about it until midnight when it's too late to do anything.
Perfect!

you're not a member?
you're insane...we order our dog food from there...5 bucks cheaper and delivered to our front door every 2 weeks...
gifts for birthday parties...random shiet around the house.
tools...
free 2 day shipping, amazon prime video for shows...and the best customer service I've ever dealt with, I can't tell you how many things they've let me keep because I as dissatisfied with a purchase and the item wasn't returnable.

I got shot down...first time ever. Amazon was like, sorry bruh...
I added to cart and it said it would adjust price at checkout when buying a gift card but it wouldn't do it...got all the way to confirming order at $99 so I bailed.
With everything they've done for me, I really shouldn't care about paying full price. I just love a deal.

I had to unlock my car like a caveman this morning, key in the hole and all. Glad I didn't do the keyhole delete.
That said I've always good experiences with Amazon. I just wish there was more stuff available for us Canadiens.
I meant in the grand scheme of things, not this particular time. In the end, they're still making money with you, it's not like they've done it solely for you.

how far from the border are you? Move to North Dakota or at least get a PO box. We'll let you. #MurricaFuckYeah
Yes, they get their money...but when I factor in them shipping me a 30 # bag of dog food for "free" every 2 weeks for $5 less than I pay at the store...and movies, and music, and books...
and there have been 2 or 3 substantial returns where they let me keep the item and straight up refunded me anyway...like, enough money given back to me to cover prime for a few years.
Insane...

nah. first time in a while, yeah I was an Android guy before I switched to iPhone about 3-4 years ago. then I finally got a Nexus 7 last week and the stock ROM that was installed was molasses... so decided to throw CM12 on it.
I thought I bricked it last week because i messed up a few steps but i just haven't done in a while.. forgot to save the RSA fingerprint so when i was trying to push things in recovery, it kept saying unauthorized.. but I had already wiped the OS so couldn't go back in and re-authenticate the computer
plus i was heading to airport that night so i figured i'll do it when i get back. so here i am

Hit the road this morning and saw a gang of first responders. Some lady was crossing a major highway and got murked. Some poor dude headed to work hit her head on. She went through the windshield, luckily he wasn't killed as well. They had a small tarp over her in the middle of the road.. what was left anyways. Traffic was backed up for miles.. shiett.. and with that.. happy friday y'all.
