I like the new old guy "snorf" over on RDX. His response to you know who:

WTF is up with those little flying bugs that live in the pissholes of the urinals? Like, every time I go to leave a piss, these bugs come flying out and I need to reverse-ghostbuster them back into the drain.

Why do they live in piss? Seems like a bad deal.

Anyone know what they're called? Seems like whatever they are called would be an appropriate nickname for *someone* and I'd really like to call *someone* that name, but I don't know what it is?

Anybody?

I'll stick with pissbug for now but seems like there's a better answer.

PS. 8 guests right now... Hi guize this is normal.

Betty and I call them shiet flies...
I think they do come from stagnant fecal matter.

Awesome Johnny...thanks man. Show us pics!

Goooo GIANTS!

PB, curious why you didn't do a ipad or something similar in there...seems like it's gotten pretty easy.
I actually just saw that they sell a single or double din mounting kit for the 3G that doesn't look half bad. Wish they'd had that 4 years ago when I had to use the oem radio for signal.

Just something to hold me off, plus I like the display, it's much nicer than 04-06 display. I'll end up doing a N7 in there and relocate that nicer display somewhere else. Everybody and their dog is doing the 04-06 display relocation, I want something different.

I think I know when I blew it too, when I cut the wires to the HVAC to wire the other harness. Saw a lil magic happen...
I usually have fuses but obviously now that I need one I don't.

Fried that one one night...kept popping fuses. I felt like crying. Turns out when I ran the speaker wire to the doors, I had put a cut into the insulation on the door courtesy light and it was shorting out.

In frustration, I jammed a piece of wire into the fuse holder and it got hot and then didn't and then would hold a fuse just fine. It fried that circuit on the multiplex unit...and at the cost/effort to replace it, I never bothered, I did dinoc over the courtesy lights so you wouldn't know they were there.

"Saw a little magic happen"

I like that. I had a similar:

cul0 dad: "cul0, demo this thing what also has electrical going innit"
cul0: "okay." *grab lineman's pliers, proceeds to cut electrical cord"
Electrical cord: "Zzzzap mothafucka!"
Building: "lights out in this sector!"
cul0: "WTF dad! Powers still on!"
cul0 dad: "no shit, why you didn't turn power off first?"
cul0: O_o ...
cul0 dad: O_O ???
cul0: O_o ...
cul0 dad: O_O "well it's off now... Go on!"
cul0: "right!"

Later that day, cul0 throws his shit filled drawers in the dumpster out back.

End scene.

And that was the first time I learned about 120V power safety. Many years later I would learn about 220V safety.

120v power safety is for wussies though, you know that. Nothing like a good lil zap to wake you up!

Electrocuted myself on a CRT before, lucky I didn't kill myself it was only from the caps that were mostly empty, I told my mom I zapped myself and she said "be careful". Thanks mom.

And Jeremy mucho love hombre. Checked 6 again, when I pulled it out my door lights went out so that proved it really wasn't this one. But oh wait what is that right next to it... a little brown spot on the 7! I missed it on my first inspection, but noticed after pulling 6 a second time.

I got hit with 240 once...that felt like a punch in the arm...
I also zapped the inside of a 150 amp can with some channel locks. I also needed a new pair of underwear. I found a lightly browned set behind a dumpster. Thanks Cul0!

LOL...
Well, glad you figured it out. Now why you testing and wiring with battery connected!

Well, part of our training for high electric bills was to feel the hot water heater piping for underground leaks. If they hadn't used the hot water, the out pipe shouldn't have been hot to touch. Well, this guy had a hialeah special install done and they wired the power to the pipe. I freaked out...I was like, wtf dude...you have kids, get this shiet fixed!
