Your story reminds me of those electric shower heads popular in South America. A water heater is expensive so they heat water as they use it.... It's exactly what you think. Apparently you can often feel "the buzz" while showering.


They're comically referred to as "widow maker" although the number of actual serious incidents is apparently very low.

Does it ever get "not summer" in Miami though?

At least swampland gets less swampy in the "winter". i.e. nuts don't stick to the leg season. But aren't you in shorts and flipflops year round?

Florida in the winter consists of 80+ degree days and humidity.. I spent all winter last year there... It was great! Well except the humidity
