New cars are nice. But not if you have little children. You will cry every time you see the car get a little bit more fucked up.
I say you get an 06-08 TSX or 07-08 TL. I'd also budget some money into the purchase to do all maintenance on the car so that you don't have to worry about anything for a few years. Not just Tbelt. Do all fluids, brakes, filters, thermostat, valve adjustment, tires and any other odds and ends.
Plus, those cars are cheap as fuck in comparison to a new 25-35k car. Not a bad idea to drop 10-12k on a car you know you like and another 2k for maintenance.

My son dropped some animal crackers yesterday in the Explorer and I busted the vacuum cleaner out of the garage and took it with us. My wife was like really? Uhhh yea.

You can go to Monterey or Santa Barbara. Get some good ass seafood at either places. Check out the Monterey bay aquarium, i'm sure the kids would get a kick out of that!

That's what I was thinking. Yea, it's nice to have a "new" car, but I don't think I want to drop 25k on one. 06-08 TSX or 07-08 TL will do just enough for me.

Yeah flippy, you got a new Explorer, i would stick to a nice solid used (Japanese) car. 3G Acura TL, specifically

The V won't snap your neck. It feels planted as shit, unless I turn off gizmos and take some tire roasting turns..
Had everyone in the car screaming with gizmos off before I even hit 30 mph.
I guess it didn't help that I joined in the screaming..

Yea, that's what I'm thinking. I had a buddy who lived in SB that's where I proposed. My wife doesn't do seafood though, but I'm sure she will find something to eat.

Guy near me in the pay it forward thread says he has side skirts in NBP, I'm like "oh cool I'd take them" since rust has leaked from my door on mine.
He says he put them for $50 but $20 and they're mine.
That's not how the pay it forward free thread works.

I stayed here with my gf the last time I went. very cozy..
Best Inn in Santa Barbara, CA
There are a bunch in the area, check rates and shop around. I didn't find a lot of chains (i.e Marriotts/Hiltons) and I think that's for the better. There's a lot of charm in that area. Also check AirBnB

I was taking it because it was free, if I'm paying to replace it's going to be a-spec if still available whenever I decide.
