I find Porsches so "meh"!!!
I dunno, I understand their design is considered to be classic and hence why their cars don't change much (talking about the Carrera), but common, eventually it just gets boring. Even the booster or caiman aren't all that different in terms of overall shape.
It'd be cool to see something revolutionary from Porsche, and I don't mean for their hyper cars like the Carrera GT or 918, but more so for the more 'everyday' cars.
Beautiful craftsmanship, beautiful materials, just getting tired of the same look, you know?

Of course you're interesting Taco. I still don't see how it's creepy for me to show Polo y'all's pics. Now if I posted a pic of you walking to your car leaving work, that would be some creepy sh*t! I'm not a pedafile or anything... No worries.

Porsche came out with the cayenne and panamera, plus the new macan.. also polarizing yet awesome. That was definitely revolutionary for the brand. You can hate it or expect something more, but you don't fix what's not broken.

I'm pushing 80k on my car. Thinking about changing the pressure switches on my transmission. If I remember correctly, yours went out at 80k. What maintenance was done on yours up until that point? Mine was serviced by Acura at 35k and then I did a 3x3 with DW1 around 70k. It shifts great at the moment. Should I change them now or wait until around 100k or before then if it's starts acting up? What is your opinion?

It's preventative maintenance.. go ahead and do them now.
Remember '07-'08 have 3 switches.

I will say that the 07-08 refresh is a much more robust transmission. That being said.. it's not a lot of money to ensure many more years of trouble free service.

I've reviewed the DIY 07-08 pressure switches thread. I've located the one behind the left front wheel and the one towards the front of the transmission. But, have yet to put my eyes on the one around the firewall. I think you have to remove the air intake to access it if I remember correctly. Also, some say there's 2 3rd gear switches and some say 2 4th gear switches.

I think what's creepy is you rehosting the image...and the fact that you care whether or not polo sees a picture of us
That said, I have 1000 pictures of Justin sucking a pickle and another one of Justin sucking a pickle on MY photobucket!

And by the way- I did see a guy in a white econoline ford van with a camera that looked very similar to you...
He eventually came up to me and asked if I like tossed salad. With extra vegetables.
Naturally, I said yes.

They're fucking awesome road cars.. Why change something that they already know is a winner? You must be drinking acura's koolaid. Sure the porsche can be polarizing, but aside from that bullshit, they just win. So what if your neighbor doesn't know what model you drive or the differences between them

Oh...and...
I have my next target vehicle...5-7 year old Hard Top convertible 6MT M3 Coupe. Alpine white with saddle or red leather. Betty is on board...had a convo with her co-worker last night that was very cool. I am a driver. The car is the ultimate driving machine.
Gotta make it happen.

My van is green, 74 model with shag carpet, a couch and a discoball on the ceiling. The tag says Shaggy. Wanna take a ride?
J, it's equally creepy that you wanted us to see Justin sucking a pickle.

Wow. You never really see those hyper cars sitting next to one another, outside of magazine articles, especially in similar color schemes.
J, why bother with an M3? You should just pony up a few extra dollars and get one of these instead. I'm sure the price differential is negligible.
Oh, right, they don't come with a 6MT, and they are hybrids after all... Back to BMW it is!

I have a feeling that car will last a good, long time, especially since the major issues have likely been covered. I'd just be worried about the turbos, but hey, there's always aftermarket for that. Cheaper and better.
I'm surprised you're ditching the idea of a new Accor.. er, uh, Mustang. You're going in a whole new direction with the M.
And for the record, I vote saddle brown interior. The red is fairly common and brown, although doesn't sound very sexy, is a very nice color. Has a nice elegance to it. Then again, I just looked at red interiors and I really wouldn't be able to decide, lol.
