Any of you suckas want a kickass terrier? Little girl is going to the shelter this Friday
She's a great dog, very protective, loving, friendly with cats and dogs. Very athletic, needs to stay active.

I'll keep tabs on her. Wish she could stay en la casa pero no mas perros comprende?!

At least for the time being.. if no one grabs her in a couple of months, I'll take her back.

You want a dog that has a mild tempermant and is protective. Some dogs don't deal with bullshit, especially little children bs.

yes, if we "buy", it will be adopting a puppy from a nearby shelter....

I would like a dog/puppy, I can play with, the kid can play with...I can go on a run with the dog/etc....

not a maltese which could get hurt with my 9th month accidentally rolling over it LOL

So yeah, Golden retriever was my 2nd option....I really like the husky but you are the 4th person telling me that they dont do well with kids....and yes my 3rd option was a lab...

Maltese are small but sturdy.. kids don't understand being gentle with a dog, that's why you want a mild tempered, patient dog. Some Huskies might consider kids as pack leaders, but the ones that don't, beware. Puppies are fun but a lot of work.

I'd love to get a puppy but unfortunately I don't have enough time to devote to one

I'm so close to being in a TL. Sold my Miata two weekends ago. I've received my release of lein on my Legacy and have my title in hand, need to take those to the DMV and get a lein-free title. Well, don't need to, but I'm going to sell private party and it would be easier with one document as opposed to two.

Need to detail the Legacy and post it up for sale. I had carmax appraise it, they offered $4000. I should be able to get $7-8000 for it private party.

Once that sells, I'll be driving my mom's old CR-V for a bit until I buy a TL. There are two near me, both '08, about 60k miles, and ~$16,500.

Those are the dealer's listed prices, pre-haggling. I'm not finding many TLs for sale private party.

I just did an Autotrader search for 07-08 TLs, with less than 60k miles, and under $15k, anywhere in the US.

I got 8 results. One of them is listed as "1 mile" and is actually 109k miles. One is a rebuilt title. So there are 6 at that price.

^^^ I think Maj was asking you to negotiate better....

when I bought my car (certified pre owned), it was sitting in the showroom, inside the dealership....with a tag of 27,995 hanging from it....I walked out of there with all the fees and such paying 23,500....

thats what I think Maj is mentioning....find something 'around' the price you want and then negotiate

PS: this was back in 2007....I bought a 2005 model...

I test drove a TL a month or so ago, to confirm I wanted to go through with my plan to get rid of the Miata and Legacy, but I haven't talked pricing with any dealers yet.

Trust me, I'm not going to pay the sticker price, but those sticker prices seem to be about the norm.

I would wait just a tad bit more....TLX's should start hitting the dealer floors in a month (found out from an dude i know at the dealer who sponsors the Acurazine meet)....with that out, the 4G will drop in prices and hence the negotiating room will be higher in the 3G...

almost the same happened when I was buying my car....was more of a lucky thing....the Type S had come out couple months back and with the revamped 2007-2008 models, they were negotiating big time on the 04-06 models
