Recently redid my headlights and swapped in Morimoto 3Five 5000k bulbs and like the same thing happened right away. The driver side is 5000k, but the passenger side is like 4300k with a bit of yellow.

Is this a ballast issue? I know I should have swapped the bulbs to see if the same thing happened on opposite sides but the headlights were already bolted back up.
When my DDM's 6K finally went after 3 years...they went purple, not white...so closer to 10K or more. Is this color when you look at the headlight, or what is being projected on the wall? Projector lens can affect color but if you're just making note, it's probably nothing new.

In my honest opinion, if you care about the output and want the best whitish you can get...OSRAM CBI for D2S...otherwise, just had a great luck with OPT7 kit off of amazon. Great reviews, awesome customer service and a nice bright pure white we're using for Betty's Cadillac. Ballast either works or doesn't although I'm sure if one of them is putting out less voltage, it would certainly affect color.

Sounds like you know there are troubleshooting and diagnostics steps you could take. Swap bulbs, swap ballasts. Identify the issue and replace the defective part.

+1 on OSRAM CBI.

I saw...
you're going to get flamed for that, Vlad. I have a glock too, but it's not known to be an excellent shooter because of how light the bottom polymer is. Mine works just fine though...

Justin can't take the heat, so he got out of the kitchen. Whatever, if that's how he treats friendship (mine included)...people like that are a dime a dozen.

Glocks suck cock.. I start newbies with G19's because there's nothing for them to fuck with, point and shoot.

9mm para is a good round because you can have high cap even for compacts. 40 and 45 have more stopping power. Ballistically speaking, some tests show that the difference between 9 and 45 is minimal and 9 may have more penetration depending on pistol and load, but I saw a 45 blow a pigs leg off (hanging, dead already). I've never seen a 9 do that.

22 kills more people than all other calibers combined and a I can dump a mag of 22 before most can get off a second shot. Fast reset, low recoil, and it often ricochets off bone. Suppressor and no one will ever blink their eye or even know a shot was fired.

Probably not an option for you but the biggest factor is if you're going to carry, and how good of a shot you are.

40 is a bullshit round that LE's use. Stupid comprise between 9 and 45. 10mm on the other hand.

I'd only buy a 40 so I can shoot the +3k rounds I have.

It was my brother's duty weapon, Maj.

Since he moved back down here, his dept. has switched to a .357 Sig Sauer.

Thanks for dropping some knowledge on my ass. Most of my ex-military friends prefer the Glocks all day. That's why I started with one. It felt better than the 92FS (maybe that's bullshit too, I really have no experience). I'm just getting into it so I really don't know what I'm looking for, trying out various guns/calibers to get a feel for what I like and what I don't. I shot a couple of rounds off a 22 Ruger (Can't remember the model) as well and was very surprised by how easy that gun was to shoot. Sounds like the best options are either a 22 or 9. Any suggestions on what to try next?

Shoot with what you're comfortable with. My brother loved the Glocks, they were simple to use and you can shoot all day long with them.

He hates the Beretta the Air Force issues.

I shoot with my dick.
Seriously...I have a glock19 because I got it cheap and I keep it for home defense along with 3 extended clips with hollow tips.

Justin is SERIOUSLY just being a hermit and hiding out because he doesn't want to take accountability and knows he can't just pile his sarcastic bs on this one...I've been in touch, he's elsewhere on the forum.

Your bro is a LEO?! Excellent

I'm surprised his dept is using 357 sig.. that's an unusual round around these parts. My father carried 357 mag back in the day (early 90's). Now that's a fucking round..

I like M9's and 92FS. My father's carry was 92FS for about a year before the department switched to compact USPs. A little more muzzle flip than I care for (because of the non-existent slide), but it's a fun shooter. I have to focus a lot more to be accurate with it. There are compensators that competitive shooters use, but not realistic for carry or home defense (think dirty harry 44).

I just hate glocks. I shoot them, I have new guys shoot them because I know they'll like them. You'll learn there is the glock group, the sig group, the 1911 group.. I'm in the CZ group, the illegitimate step child of Browning and 1911.

For now, shoot everything you can. Shoot 357 / 38 revolver (smitty), CZ 75b, G19, FNX9/45, 1911 (RIA, Para, Springfield, Sig), MP9, HK USP9/45, CZ P07. Those are entry level shooters that won't let you down and well worth the price of admission.

Shoot anything you can get your hands on.
