Brother, I'm nowhere as patient as you or as laid back as the crabman...that friendship would be on the rocks by now if I loaned him something I needed/wanted back, money included.

Umm if you still don't see that the right thing to do is bring it back to my garage where you took it from you're living in your own world son. It is not my responsibility to get it from you, it is your responsibility to give it back

Lol just shut up justin. For someone who claims to he smart you are not making any sense at all. If I don't invite you over that means you should not return my property?

Happy friday slores!
Dennis totally seems like the type of TLDude that would invite you to the BBQ if you showed up at his house with his wheel during the BBQ.
I can't believe we're still talking about this fucking wheel.

Thanks boys...Maj...you said you didn't like those wheels on my car I may try them out again...that picture I posted here was when I first put them on and the car was low and no center caps...maybe made them look different.

LMAO...something tells me I'll never live that down...the towel thing. Does it mean anything that I still don't regret letting you guys enjoy that story?!!??!
Yeah, man...I think maybe the lack of center caps and the silver lug nuts actually made the wheels look more streamlined...the black lugnuts were huge, required 21mm socket so they kinda made the wheels look like a toy with bubbly big wheels...

OEM-so glad I kept them

I'm keeping both sets for a while...

....holy hell, I am gonna count my blessings that I got the manifold/TB back from Justin in after a 2 day delay LOL....the wheel thing is just crazy if someone would have loaned me a wheel, I would have polished it up, cleaned it thoroughly and gift wrapped it and returned it with a box of chocolates....whether Dennis needs it right away or after 4 weeks, to me I would be grateful that he loaned it to me in the first place....
get yo game up Justin...maybe thats the reason why you were not invited over....just sayin'
@Jeremy: I would hold onto both sets there Jeremy...
I like the TE's...wish they were a little more concave but I sure dont know the variety and specs that the S2000 folks have/run...but it makes the side profile look awesome...
and the stock wheels look great as well...no wonder its gonna be a tough decision....

Hey Guys! Happy Friday!
Had a question for the pro's. I have had an optima red top (newer shitty "made in Mexico" version) for 3 1/2yrs. It's now dead, and I would like to know a reasonable replacement, it doesn't have to be AGM, I do not have any upgraded stereo or anything. Any help would be appreciated! Closest chain stores are autozone, advanced auto, etc.....
Coupon codes for above mentioned stores would be great, if anyone knows of any!

Yeah but that diehard platinum is like $200+, isn't it? Or is there a regular version, not AGM?

We ended up getting the Autocraft Gold battery for the wifey's Lexus...
was like 78 bucks out the door (battery was 110, coupon code: BATX took 25% off, the core return was another couple bucks)....ordered online, went to Advance Auto Parts and they tested the full electrical system, changed the battery and we were good to go after 78 bucks paid....
its been doing well in Kansas where we see sub zero and 100deg weather....and its been doing well for about 4 years now....if I had to replace the battery again, I would definitely go that route again....

If you're trying to save some coin.. Get the autocraft gold (AGM).. $107 + Advance coupon.. there should be a 30 or 40% off coupon floating around. Will knock it down to $70-80. It's only warrantied for 2 years though, not sure about prorate. I'd ask. That's the cheapest it's going to get though.

Not trying to be cheap, just didn't want to drop that $200 or more, and only get 3yrs out of it.
Thanks for the heads up on the Autocraft Gold AGM...

Well, not sure about the Autocraft, but the Duralast is a fucking great battery new. Then after 6 mos - 1 yr.. you notice a change. It doesn't crank as strong. It stays like this until it eventually drops a cell and dies around year 3. I've had one die a month before and a month after 3 years.. it's like clockwork.
From what I hear about the Diehard, it's dependable, and holds a strong crank through most of it's life. It's the quality that you're paying for, which used to be true for Optima..
