That safety at the beginning of the game really set the tone for Denver. Capable of a comeback for sure but it wasn't gonna happen

@ the Peyton Manning Memes

it was ridiculous game (only because I wasnt rooting for the Hawks)....the Seahawks played like a veteran team....made no mistakes and came heavy with the defense and the offense played really well too and converted many 3rd and long....

I was very impressed with how they handled themselves and finished the game...

Maj...I'm here...thanks for your concern, I have a hangover and not from drinking. The Broncos appeared to be the worst prepared team for a Super Bowl I have ever seen. Peyton said so after the game, we were not prepared for the crowd noise. WTF That loss is on John Fox imo...and the Seahawks, they were very good. You know, the Broncos defense played pretty well considering, we kept giving their offense the ball in really good field position and their offense only scored one TD in the first half. But then, that dink kick to start the second half. The announcers said they were worried about Harvin...BS, they were trying to surprise Seattle with that kick, if the were worried about Harvin then Prater would have just kick the ball out of the end zone which he did about 90% of the time this year.

I saw the top 5 list of most lop-sided defeats in Superbowl history and the Broncos are on there 3 times.

So, it appears when they don't show up, they really don't show up.

That's for sure. I feel really bad for the Denver fans that forked out the cash to go to the game...big $$$ for a huge disappointment. I went to the Avs-Sabres game Saturday...that was fun. Yummy...I think the Blackhawks are looking in their rearview mirror. How the hell does a team like the Blackhawks have 14 OT/SO losses? With those players?

Well, I truly picked Denver to win because the X-factor was Manning...just didn't realize he was a "negative" X-factor. Still, gotta give Seattle credit, their D showed up big-time and messed up his pocket. Manning is not an erratic passer (i.e. Romowned) and so, it had lots to do with his pocket collapsing all night.

Defense wins Championships. Period.

Blackhawks are snake-bitten in OT this year, no doubt. It is the stupid gimmick shootouts where they are owned. Fortunately, there is no shootout in the playoffs.

Spend $5-10k just to watch your team sleep.

It was the whole team + fox.. But.. on that note, Seattle really controlled the game. The turnovers helped, but honestly, they came with their best. Broncos played their worst and Seahawks their best. Eh, at least it wasn't boring.

I was sleeping...

Seattle definitely played well, best part, not a word from Sherman. DT caught 13 passes for the Broncos, 12 of them were for 1-2 yards tho.

Seattle definitely played like a BOSS !!! they came out and they really brought and kept the tempo on the field...

I was hoping Manning would come out the in the 2nd half and start to control the clock and take charge but that plan went down the drain with the kick off return...

That was the most disappointing part.. Sherman got hurt, backup corner shuts Manning down.

No brakes for Manning

Next year Manning.. you can't just come in and show Elway up.

So, are the Seahawks to 9er fans like Packers are to Bears fans...?

Kinda didn't note that until the last couple of seasons...

I suppose. But, the 9ers gotta blame their QB for some weird throws he made. It was like Kap was doing his best Romowned imitation.

No way, there's no rivalry between 49'ers and Seahawks, only time will tell if there is, but as I see it, muchadoabootnuttin
