...so, about 5 years ago, before Bieber's nuts had descended and/or he became a household name. He showed up to my wife's father's dealership (where he was the special finance manager) to buy a car for his uncle in cash. I think he bought an accord

Anyway, he refused to get out of his car and her Dad had to go out and do the deal through the car window. Reason: Bieber said that if he got out of the car there would be a mob of fans and women that would appear and he wanted to stay low key.

So, to preface it, Betty's Dad is a 350 pound 5'6" Cuban dude that says whatever he wants whenever he wants...part of the reason I love him. No apologies.

Anyway, so the kid tells him, "your daughter will be very excited when you tell her you met me, it's going to make your daughter very happy and here are some autographed CD's." So, Dad called Betty in front of him and was like "Oye', hay un mojon aqui que se llama Jusssinn Beaver ou algo asi, lo conoces?" (translate: there's some little turd here named Justin Beaver, do you know him or care)...her response, yes Dad, I know who he is but no I really don't give a fk. So Dad hangs up the phone and says, she says she doesn't care, I guess I'll give the CD's to the girls in the office because she doesn't want one.



He also sold Too Short a car, he came and bought it with a brown bag full of cash, no lie.

Oh, and guys...thanks for humoring me and giving me all different perspectives. A lot of thought went into it, but when the dude bumped the offer for the top from $2900 to $3200 after I had decided not to sell, it was the push I needed. He drove down with his wife and a trailer yesterday...deed was done. It was like a Mexican standoff, they were both cops and presumably packin, I had the house alarm on and interior garage door locked with house keys and my glock hidden but very accessible near the top.

Growing up in these times makes you paranoid and cautious!

I had to put the soft top up on the way home due to rain yesterday...so of course I had seller's remorse immediately after, but the pile of money and extra floor space in the garage soothed that. After some thought, the fact that Betty had to help me put it on/off every single time, the fact that I've had the top down since I reinstalled the soft top, and the idea that I'd put it on a couple times a year to take some pictures or when I was bored made me realize that it was going to end up being a very expensive piece of garage art. Also, I didn't even have to post, bicker, negotiate, have a flake, figure out shipping, wait for someone with the expendable income for such an expensive and unnecessary purchase.

Blue one is obviously new owner, they spent Wednesday night taking off soft top and prepping, and last night they put in the hard top.

Silver one is the guy that sold me mine...he bought his buddy's turbo one making 408 RWHP.
