The 7AT does a lot of gear-hunting on hills sometimes but otherwise, it's a nice smooth ride.
I think it's a pretty solid ride.

i laughed at my co-worker for taking it in for a suspension squeak.
as i told him, they'll be hunting for it and will most likely not find the sound.

Never having driven the Nurburgring I would say that the GT-R looks like a handful, sort of like a NASCAR car on a road course. Lots and lots of tire scrubbing in the corners so he was definitely close to the limit. Beat previous record by other than GT-R by 50 freaking seconds. Crazy.

Its a rule, cars never make "the" noise when you take them in...

Not at all.. check the gear he was in and RPM through the turns. He was barely driving it. A couple of corrections but only to maintain speed. He's definitely driving it to the limits on a very dangerous course but the GT-R stays planted.

Randy Pobst has a bunch of killer driver's car comparos with the GT-R. He spells it out in each one.

People say the GT-R is one of the "easiest" high-performance cars to drive. You almost don't need any training.

Next closest is apparently the M3. I'm not saying Porsche because well, the cars I like are a notch above in price...although, Nissan sure has gone to scalping for the GT-R.

Most grandmas could drive it. I took Xoulu's out for a spin after he kept encouraging me and I did a figure 8 around a light post in front of Planet Fitness (Justn?), then hammered it down a roundabout into traffic. It's fast but it sucks the emotion out of it. Seriously, it's too well mannered. I get more anxious taking out the Tundra on damp roads at 20 mph. I love scaring the shit out of passengers in the Tundra though. I once drifted it along a single lane road close to a cliffline. /coolstory

Wow. I hope to drive a GT-R one day.

Easiest drive I've had in an "uber-car" was the 1992 NSX I seriously considered trading my old CL-S for back in 2004. Holy was that ever fun...

Except the shit tires I have on the tundra lose traction at moderate speeds and on any turn.

I've heard the Porsche GT is one of the easier ones to drive, actually.

Of course he does. I haven't met an Eastern European without a luxury brand motor, even if they're broke as fuck, they find a way to make the payments. One of my best friends is unemployed and somehow manages to own a 2010 G37. Thefuck.

I'm an electrical engineer, working at a manufacturing facility. I make sure all the test systems are running. I'm bored because nothing is broken.

$80k isn't what it used to be, especially with student loans.

I like the Jags. I think the Model S got some styling cues from them.

Lol. Every single person is telling me to break something. Maybe I can throw some magnets at some circuit boards and wait for a phone call

What do you do?

my new project manager has been more than kind....

since we had a new addition to the family, he was like "work from home and enjoy the time with the newborn"....else I would have been traveling to Richardson, TX every week (monday-thursday)....

I think starting March, I will be traveling every other week....

we got lucky with the kid....he rarely cries...only when he is super sleepy and if his feeding time is approaching...

with feeding, we dont get a warning....its like he is all happy and playing and all of a sudden, he is hungry haha...its hysterical....

but yeah at times I do wish I got to "date" the wifey a little bit longer...since I knew it was gonna be a while until we got to go on a date...on the last night in the hospital, I asked the nurse to put the kid in the nursery and I went and got some Olive Garden for the wifey....lit up some candles and made a night out of it

and I dont work on the car as much
