Thanks for the advice guys...you made a point that made me change my mind, Majofo. There's no fire...it'll sell today, it'll sell in a year, it'll sell when I sell the car. No rush...and I'm not in need of space or hurting for cash right now.

Also, it's been gorgeous and perfect out since I took the hard top off...I might change my mind when it gets sh*tty out again or want to rock it for a week or two.

Well.. if the hard top is not numbered, not rare / hard to find, doesn't improve handling, don't foresee every really wanting to put it back and could probably score a paint matched one for less than the guy is offering.

Can I get some expert opinions from you guys on this?

I'm getting XXR530s for my summer set up. I'm not lowered yet, but I need new summer tires anyways so I figured I'd grab this set now.

I'm going with 18x8.75 +33 up front with 235/40/18.

For the back, would it be better to go with 18x8.75 +33 with 235/40/18 and run spacers?

Or 18x8.75 +20 with 225/40/18?

When I eventually lower it, would a 235/40/18 work for the back with +20 or am I limited to 225s?

I'm trying to go by Geeteedan's pics, but it's hard to tell if 235 would be too wide for the back once lowered
