Oh nice. In college, I was pimpin' it up in a red Ford Aerostar.
All the bishes came runnin' away from me when I drove up.

And if I was lucky...my Mom's Corolla. Pine green FTW.

Can't beat my blue 1986 Ford Taurus station wagon...
Had 2 10" bazookas in the back with the speaker wiring running through the roof and a big old comforter covering them for theft prevention.

I recall this one time, it was pouring rain...had to take my shirt off to wipe the windshield down. Cop sees me flick a cigarette out of the car and pulls me over and proceeds to ask me if I "think I'm a tough guy" for rolling around shirtless flicking sh*t...I was like NO SIR, wuh ha happin wuz....
he wasn't hearing it.

Nah...I know better that that because...
RACECAR!
Hey, I had me a 1970 Opel GT in college. Needed a battery that I couldn't afford so I either had to park it on a hill or push La Bamba to get her started. Bought the Opel GT after I blew the motor in my 67 442.
Oh yeah, what is A/C? Opel never heard of it.

^^^Lightweight...
I've been there! I used to park my 1990 civic hatch at the top of the ramp at the parking garage at work...get out, roll it, bam, push start. Only problem, the bottom of the ramp was dark...one night on my way down I forgot that there was a curb. Jumped it, popped front tire. If I didn't have money for a battery, I certainly didn't have money for a tire.
Gary, check out my S2000 thread...I posted video of the exhaust sound this morning.

honestly, that's always been a background reason for having a manual car. I'm like, in a pinch...

Yeah I get that, although todays cars seem to crap out all together when the battery goes, happen to me in a Vigor I owned and this TL, battery died, car went dead right where I was. Push start wasn't going to help even if I had an MT.
Your S2K sounds great, and way better than any Subbie ever.

dude, seems like we are working on the same effin project. I am managing a team in Israel and them dont seem to understand deadlines.
plus a new manager came on board and she is a nightmare. Sends me email asking me the status, I reply with the status and within a minute of the reply she calls me and asks me the same question again. I tell her EXACTLY what I wrote in the email and she is like "thats cool". If "thats cool" then why did you call me and waste 20 minutes of my time. She sets up a team meeting Tue/Thur, I dont mind that except, its 3 fucking hours long and she is managing 2 people. Am managing more offshore resources and my team meetings last 28 of the scheduled 30 minutes 2 times a week.

I just looked up racecar in the dictionary, says" Must have MT, must downshift!"
OK, if you say so...Webster's definition of salmon is :an orange-pink color or a strong yellowish pink.

TL is fun in the snow as well I took her out the day before and she handled like a champ in snow....I am on all season tires, not dedicated winter tires...

I don't want to get her dirty or windshield chip or bumper chip or dirty...
At the risk of being sexist, she's just flexing her muscle so to speak as a woman with power...have a heart to heart with her, might help.

^^^ I am honestly a straight shooter and hence not many people like me...
I tend to be honest and upfront rather than sugar coating stuff (but when it comes to work, I know what to say and what not to say to the clients and hence they love to work with me). Of the 4 clients I have worked in the past 3 years, I have gotten 4 job offers LOL.
I totally agree with you though....she just became a Sr Manager and she is just flexing her muscles. She is still into the whole micromanaging stuff....
When I delegate stuff to my developers, I just give them the task and the deadline...I only get a status from them every time we have a team meeting. I dont bug them 10 times a day to get a status. She is quite the opposite.
