thats an awesome list yummy...

hypothetically speaking, this would be my list:
Ferrari F12 or I can make due with the 458 Italia - Weekend warrior
GTR - Daily
Tesla S - Family Sedan
Escalade - poop machine

but realistically
GTR - weekend/daily (I bet the maintenance will be high as fawk for it to be a daily)
Tesla S (or or ther premium sedan) - Family Sedan
Odyssey/MDX - Poop machine...

People talk about the high maintenance cost of the GT-R, but most of these fuckers don't turn wrenches.

Mmm.. a 458 and AM.. yes please. I can live vicariously through herrr doktor though.

Hey Yum...

Okay, seriously:

1) NSX, reasonably attainable and obvious progression from the S2000
2) GT-R, because c'mon...I saw the review of it on Top Gear and knew I wanted one
3) Far fetched as fk but Lamborghini Aventador...natural progression of my childhood infatuation with the Diablo.
4) Acura TL, somewhere around 2004. They just look cook and reliable.
5) S2000, because real men ride topless, especially if they have a tat like the guy above

I don't know why people find the GT-R ugly. It looks fine to me. I mean, it's not as say, gorgeous as a Pagani Zonda or Poopdick McFartington...but, still...it's still pretty darn sharp.

As far as mid life crisis car goes I'm not really sure but with my budget these are realistic options...

1. White or Silver Porsche Cayman S with espresso leather
2. Older Porsche 911 in Silver
3. Evo (I've already owned an STI once)
4. 240/280Z LS,2JZ or RB swapped... build it slowly by myself over many years
5. Audi S4/S5

My TL has 30k miles on it so it's still new and will probably become the first car I ever pay off and just keep around.

For most people who don't like it, it's the Nissan badge.

It's not sleek like an AM but I think it looks great. Beastly in a good way, fucking brutal. First time I saw it, I was like, that's so fucking Metal. For those that hate, look how many car manufacturers have stolen the big front grill look. Everybody. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery as they say. Even the new stingray, took many of the design cues.

The first time I saw a GTR was in a Nissan showroom waiting on the service dept. I walked around it thinking about how big it's overall presence is and then a dealer came over and told me I could sit in it if I wanted to. It's one of those car's that you dream of having but you know you will never be able to afford it... well you could if you tried but the maintenance would be ungodly for a daily driver. I went to get out of it and the same dealer said "You can't get out of it yet, you haven't started it!" I was like no freaking way... all I'm going to say is that the sound of that thing starting when I pushed the button made an instant wet spot in my pants.

Also the fact you can go in the snow and no frak's are given.

Dunno. I find it a bit amusing that the same people who hate the angular look of the GT-R loved the Bangledness of BMWs of yester-years.

Infiniti/Nissan is not horrid. I know most people find it amusing to hate on the FX's look and I'm fine with it...but, almost everyone I met when I first got it thought it looked amazing...it was so unique and different than anything on the road.

I wonder if we rebadged them with a BMW logo if the reaction would be different.

*cough* X6. *cough*

The first GT-R I saw in person was at a tint shop. I just bought the TL and the 5% on the front window didn't pass. So headed to local tint shop and they had a GT-R getting a clear bra put on. I was fucking amazed at the size of the rotors. Of all things to trip balls on, I was looking at the fucking rotors and looking at mine on the TL, just dumbfounded. This must be what penis envy is like.

I think the rotors on the MT TL are a decent size Still, the 13" brakes on the GT-R are pretty massive looking. I was blown away by the Aventador's.

McLaren has some pretty good looking brakes too.

Honestly, the rotors/calipers are what had me floored when i saw my first GT-R too...not gonna lie. In my mind I was like, if they need that kinda stopping power, that thing must be a beast.

My son now owns the last 280Z I owned and is in the process of dropping a small block Chevy in it. He painted it black...it is sweet. Still has the Z motor in it in this pic.
