i think the 06 TL have 9005 in the DRL/FOG spot....do double check....

The Jamo S426 5.0 system is pretty good like I mentioned. I didn't like the satellite or center speakers so much, but the towers and system all together sounded full and had decent SQ. It would be a great bedroom setup. I'm not sure how big your basement is but placement and angle will be a lot more important with them. You may have voids in some areas.

Don't waste your money on those down firing subs. $100 for 8" downfiring subs.. shiet.. they only way 16 lbs and the Amazon link is wrong. The Freq Response does not go down to 20 Hz on those Jamos.. it's 38-200 Hz. The BIC F12 is a monster in comparison.. ~45 lbs. You want your basement to rumble, pay a little more and get the F12's or a little less and PSW10's (probably $75/ea on newegg, deals come along often). Again, don't waste your money on those Jamo subs.

If you do get the S426 system, I'd position those towers in the rear, satellites adjacent from the listeners at each side. Sell the center and get that kickass BIC center on sale and get those floorstanding towers. Depends on how willing you are to depart with your monies. If you rather not, and keep as much monies as possible.. the S426 can be found at Fry's once in a while for less than $150 and the floorstanding speakers can be found for $90.. A whole system for $400.

Maj...autozone does lifetime warranty INCLUDING wear. The only parts store that had that, every 17K I'd take the worn pads back in the box and they'd look up my number and hand me new ones.
