back in school, while writing code, our professor used to insist us to save the file with check points every couple lines of code....

so what he used to do is, after 45 minutes into he class (2 hour lab), he would shut off the mains and most off the class used to yell "motherf*#$&#&"

we learned the hard way to save all our shit with backups every few minutes of work LOL

I knew the Chiefs would screw it up. They have NO defensive secondary. The cornerbacks coach needs to be fired. They also need to start from scratch with all the defensive backs (except for #29).

It will be interesting to see what transpires during the off-season.

well, i think more than the KC defense, Luck and the Colts called plays to confuse the defense....

you can see Hilton run and score off a big play while the effin defense was expecting a short gain....how the hell do you let your offensive match up go that deep !!!

I think Hilton played very well....13 receptions for 224 yd....he should have been double covered if anything !!!

It's ironic.....at the beginning of the year, the defense was dominating. The second half of the year, the offense dominated and the defense totally went south.

on a different topic....anyone has any experience with FOCAL audio products?

starting from the top, want to add a home theater setup in the basement as its getting close to drywall....

my budget is around 1500 for the full audio setup....I picked up an Onkyo 7.2 receiver for a good price and now its time to pick up the speaker setup...

while researching for the speakers, couple friends offered to help (who know their shizz) and we went to couple places to listen to the audio setup...I decided on floor standing speakers for the front and in ceiling for the rear....we went to best buy and I liked the Klipsch setup....they are having some deal so you get the rear speakers for free and it was coming to 950 for the 5 speakers and another 250 for the sub....

then we went to an high end audio shop where we saw a 60,000 setup being "broken in"....and we asked if they had something more "affordable"....they showed us a 3500 setup which sounded awesome....and finally they showed us the FOCAL setup which is 800 bucks for the 5 speakers and a sub...and it sounded awesome....

just wanted to see if anyone had some experience with the brand and if I should be aware of anything before pulling the trigger....

Sorry I couldn't go to look at audio equipment with you......

1. Good looking receiver-you'll like it a lot.

2. Klipsch is a great speaker line. So is Focal. Klipsch is more of a "retail" line of speakers while Focal is not. That doesn't mean that Klipsch isn't as good as Focal-it just means that you won't see Focal as much in a "Box Store" like Best Buy.

I have had Klipsch speakers in the past...I now have 7.1 Bose Acoustimas w/ a Yamaha receiver...the Bose setup is better than the Klipsch for home theatre imho, although the Klipsch was better for music.

GK, the Focal SIB line is focused to break Bose's back LOL....IMHO focal is doing it better and has a better price point....

I have the Bose sound dock and I like how it sounds...I wish it had a little more oomph though....

How do you like the Acoustimas? Do you have the Acoustimas 6 or 10?

I have the 10, and I like it. Crisp highs, very clear mids, I do have a Yamaha subwoofer though that I like better than the Bose. The lows are just deeper I think. Kind of like the difference between an 8" sub and a 12" sub.


I'm not familiar with Focal and a lower price point would be a good thing. I got the Acoustimas 10 for a steal. Divorcing couple that lived across the street were selling stuff to split it up. I paid $350 for it. It was only 4 months old.
