Justin, I only speak from experience....177K on the motor, everything still running perfectly fine....daily driven, I consider it highly modded, I tinker with it a lot.....so I saw things I experience....its kinda tough to experience all that on jacks

Relay mod is super easy as well....take about 20 minutes tops....

if you dont know how to solder, load resistor mod is better else you will burn the PCB on the relay and you will need another relay....

Never soldered in my life, but there's a guy that has done this mod like 4 times already and he's local to me.. although for some reason I'm still nervous about messing with the relay.

I was reading the other thread, didn't you have problems with the mod?

Houston has more exotics than Van City, no one would bat an eye at a RS5, I bet HPD is profiling A4's at this point

no sir....

a local had an issue and burned his PCB...he bought a new relay and brought it over, and I did the install for him....worked perfectly well

the only issue I had was I used a 0.12ohm instead of a 0.22ohm OR 0.24ohm...when I switched, it worked fine

he must not realize that we're rolling in oil and gas $ and have the port of houston, not to mention some of the best hospitals in the country...
in 2008 and 2009 people were still building homes despite the economy...

The sales manager, interviewed by KHOU, was kind of in awe of the guys' slick plan and said, "This is not their first rodeo," which is in no way an Isuzu reference.

I wasn't belittling Houston but merely pointing out that the RS5s haven't been here that long. Lol

Literally one model year I believe.

Thus, there can't be too many.

Florida, summer tires year round. It's where it's at.

And yes, I did the 105K service flawlessly.

In theory. I have an intake manifold thermal gasket in there already. Flame away...

They had the RS5 overseas since 2010 I believe with the B8. We've only had them post face-lift B8.5 since 2013.

And Justin
