I had a neighbor pass a couple of years ago. My buddy who lives right across from her knew her pretty well too, she was very nice. It was a heart attack, she went peacefully in her sleep. It was really sad because in the downturn her husband could only find a job in Phoenix, so he would comeback every couple of weeks. The night she passed was the night he was coming home. He had flowers and it was going to be a romantic return, but she was gone.

Life is short, carpe diem because tomorrow is not promised. Let your loved ones know they are loved, especially your parents. If you still have your parents, everyday is a blessing so be sure to acknowledge them and reap the wisdom and love they have to share with you.

Was on my way to getting shit faced when I got a knock on my door.
it was one of my neighbors.
"I just had a stroke, Justin. help me get back into my house."

literally scared the crap outta me.
I had to break into his house through the back window....

Don't fux with an adjustable set. Just buy a couple of dumbbells that you will use a lot. Elliptical / treadmills.. not a fan.

Maj...elliptical is for the wifey....I like going for a run....

I mix my workouts with very high reps (30) and very low reps (4-6)....so I need a wide variety of dumbbells hence I thought adjustable would be the way to go....do you have any bad experiences with them?

yeah, they break eventually.

Get some 20's and some 40's.

Better yet, get 60 or 80's for chest and shoulders, and get a curl bar with a mini rack so you can adjust the weight on the bar.

Dumbbells / weights can be obtained on the cheap, tons of people sell their sets on CL. I'd start there.

it just scared me because he said "stroke"
and he couldnt get back into the house, so I'm assuming the ambulance took him and locked him out.
