And oh, it's snowing like the planet's life depends on it.
I hate snow.

Twas like that yesterday. I don't particularly enjoy snow, but I'm fond of driving in it. You know, 'cause as one great noob said once "Drifting in the snow with my TL and then when my motor is cold and I go to 5000rpm there's white smoke is this normal"!

They got used to it eventually, but it was still funny the first few years. I still remember him wearing a thick hoodie in mid-september when classes started while everybody else was in tees.

Had a friend in high school whose parents moved from Cali to here. He and his parents genuinely thought they were not gonna make it through winter because it was too harsh on them. His dad had a fender bender with his car on the first tiny flurry of snow we got and his mom slipped down the stairs and hurt herself because she never thought they could get this icy. His parents were in their early 50 and he was 15 or so, and they lived in Cali all their life.

Reminds me of our first flight into Honolulu, open air airport, Christmas day 1989...low 70s when we landed, natives were in down jackets. Hilarious.

Well, the E is likely a more expensive car rom the get go (I'm Assuming here... I've never bothered checking). And it's a year newer than the C.
Those alone justify the 6k price difference. I guess it comes down to what you're looking for and how long you plan on keeping the car. If it's intended to solely be a haul ass for fun kind of car, maybe stick to the C. If it's gonna be a dedicated daily driver, which you plan on keeping for several years, consider the E. It is also a larger vehicle which always helps, especially with a family.
If I was in the market for either, I without a doubt would go with an E. It looks so much more elegant while sneakily still being a tire shredding war machine. I've always liked the E class. Not too small. Not too big. Definitely nicer than the C, but not as nice as an S.

E has more electric trinkets and air ride.. $$ to fix or replace. I'm with you though. Just trying to put everything in perspective.

Same here with first snow, Cali and Texas natives that move here be bouncing off the curbs and their arses when we get snow. Going up a little hill spinning their tires, it'll go, just use WOT!

Repair of all the cool little gadgets is expensive, and without it, well it's not so much of a luxury car anymore I guess.

The E makes me think "subtle baller". Not too flashy, but those who know, know.
You have a little one, don't you? The C might be a regretful family car, in terms of size, after you buy it. Oh, the dilemma!
Fuck it. Porsche Panamera Turbo.
