2 kids and you're modding? No. Okay, fine...maybe, but only the C-10! I agree on the one project at a time...that's how those old timers end up with a garage full of almost cars and a mess they'll never clean up before they kick.

Jamie, why you being creepy again...back in your cage!

Yeah... I usually have about 5 projects going on and it's definitely NOT the most efficient. But sometimes that's just how my brain works.. I have about 3 projector retrofits going on... whoops.

Anyone ever drive around in a 2014 Jetta TSI? I've gotten it twice for rentals in the past few weeks and holy crap it's a fun car to drive! 4-cylinder turbocharged makes it very peppy! I took it on the Florida turnpike last night on the way down to Miami to meet a friend for dinner and Yum yum! Also yum was Versailles restaurant in Coral Gables.. had some delicious authentic Cuban food

HEY! It's much more fun than the 2014 Corollas they've been giving me corollas have no power whatsoever. I need to start talking about the Avis desk so they can hook it up with a 328i or something...

If I do anything to the Accord it will be just drop, wheels and the Sport deck lid which is like 100 bucks. 2500 at the max will be put into the Accord. Was thinking Visors but don't want to pay $200 for a set like I did with the TL.

Haven't driven a Jetta...swore VW off more than 30 years ago...pricks. Haven't been to the Sunshine State either...one of these days, on the bucket list.

Marge, go with the E. The C is what young douche bags drive. The E is what established gentlemen drive.

Every time I see a c63 I'm just like "meh... It's still a C class". The odd time I see an e63, I'm like "daaaaaamn. Guy has taste!"

And yes, I realize the c63 is a fast slut, but, still just a c class

Ehhh, last gen Jettas scream cost cutting. Plus there was nothing wrong with the inline 5 2.5L, the TSI model is the 1.8L with a turbo to achieve what the 2.5L produced in terms of power. A bit of weight cutting & better mileage, but less low RPM power.

Maybe one day they configure the Jetta TSI like the Golf GTI then it becomes something nice.

Yeah my company just allows me to book mid-sized cars and I thought the Jetta is a decent car for that class. There are obviously better cars. If they rented out Golf GTI's.. I think I'd get into a lot of trouble.. The hiss of the turbo is sexy though...

I agree it's probably better than most other rental cars in that category in terms of performance. I think the turbo hiss puts you more in the racing mindset and makes you believe you're going faster than you're actually going.

My suggestion: spend more money on some discrete stickers for your surveillance van

A 2008 E63 Estate just went on the market. Pretty rare. It's freaking nice. I don't like the interior color but I can forgive it.

Good price considering fairly low miles and great condition.

I like the wagon, if I could have gotten a 335i wagon I probably would have. Exterior of the car looks really clean as does the interior. I really don't like the headlights on that Merc tho and i'm a black interior guy too, thats just too tan. Looks like an old Bugeye Sprite.

Wasn't there a period of a few years where the Merc reliability had dropped significantly?
