Wasn’t it spelled Razr? The other razor was a foot scooter.
Back when I was 13 I spent half a summer working on a church families homemade lake to earn their non-starting scooter.
A red 1985 Honda Aero 50. The starter was toast.
Afterwards, I went to my grandparents house to go door to door doing yard work for an entire day and rZ’d $94 of the $150 needed for a starter. It felt funny asking random strangers to do yard work door to door, but I kept repeating to myself all of that day, “Money over funny”.
My Father saw my effort and gave me the remaining $56 to purchase the starter.
When I installed it and it fired right up, I hopped on and rode for an hour, all the while tears of joy streaming around my neck and tearing into the wind off the back of my neck.
