The legend has the same motor almost as the 1G. I'd just need to swap in the type 2 manifold and the cams.

how many 1G do you see on the road these days? 3G is starting to dwindle too but the evil you know and all.
3G is not without it's annoyances and faults although mostly it'll not leave you stranded.

Pulled out carpet and pressure washed
Some Body work (more to come)
Header back exhaust (due to rust)
Short Ram Intake
Coolant Temp sensor/sender
Front struts
Pads and rotors
All of this work came with an assload of rust
