Holy fuck balls is Barcelona a tourist trap. I remember hearing the population is 1.6M, but there's about that many tourists there at all times. Place was fucking insane. Beautiful city, though. Will be going back again in a few days. Gonna spend the day at the beach tomorrow. I'm exhausted from all the trains and buses and walking around.
I saw two Ferrari F430s today. One red and one black, travelling behind each other, in Barcelona.
30 minutes later I saw for the first time in my life, a Koenigsegg Agera RS, in a cream and black exterior color combo driving by. Couldn't snap a pic as I was about a hundred feet away and there was 638485847 tourists around. Looked fuggin sweet though. The paint job was kind of lame for such a car though.
So funny story.... I'm sitting in bed last night, writing an email. Balcony curtains were open a bit and for some reason I looked out the window. Noticed there were two people on the balcony, two floors up. Hotel is an L shape, and they're opposite of me.
Then I was like... Wait a minute... Kept looking... Guy was fucking his lady on the balcony. Wasn't sure at first... Kept watching (I like to watch ). Yep, sure enough they were both standing but he was giving it to her from behind. Started chuckling to myaelf. Eventually I was like "I need to film this and post it in AZ" but by the time I came back with my phone, they finished
They had kids swimming trunks hanging from the balcony railing and it was around midnight. Probably didn't want to scare the kids.
My old man is on the verge of death and I don't know what to do anymore.
His heart is in terrible condition. He went in for a procedure maybe 8 or ten months ago and it was revealed that he had two valves blocked up to 90%. He's overweight. I told him I'm putting him on a diet when we get back from this trip. He claims to be 280 pounds but I wouldn't be surprised if he was pushing close to 300.
He wakes up all night. He says he can't sleep. I finally heard it this night and it sounds like he can't breathe. He just cannot control what he crams into his mouth. He's putting a toll on my mom and I. I can get him to drop weight but I can't do anything about his heart and he just keeps eating terribly at every meal. I seriously don't know what to do anymore. I keep telling him Don't fucking eat that. You're killing yourself. He's terrified of dying himself and yet he just keeps eating and eating. Like wtf is a guy supposed to do? I kept thinking to myself he won't make it another 5 years at this pace. He's 73 years old. Then I downgraded it to another 2 years in my headif he continues at the pace he's going at. Now I don't know know if he will even make it home from from this trip alive.

FWIW, you are spot on...your pops MUST fix his problem via diet and WITH medical treatment to go with it as it is needed. And working in daily exercise. Ask him this: Does he want to eat to live or live to eat...? Let him realize it's the former. Tell him there's more to life than living for what you put into your mouth to enjoy for a few moments. End of the day, it comes out anyways...regardless.

Plus mom can be an enabler
And it's polarizing because you're in a fit lifestyle
Best I'd recommend is regular walking
Cut out alcohol, and get in a IF / TRF cycle with him
Diets are total bullshit at his age
No motivation and unsustainable
Cutting out certain shit like alcohol and simple carbs are best bet
Then into a fasting cycle
