Was reading https://acurazine.com/forums/tl-tlx-...-546223/page3/ and got to post #98 and thought, "is this me on here?"

Anyone else like this sauce? Been drinking it for years. I put it on Everything. I like thier competitor brands too, but only this once sells it by the gallon to the public. Got it at US chef.

Null and proud of it
Price was embarrassingly high, and I had to drive 8 hours to Atlanta to get it.
Regardless, I regret it not one bit. I wanted a KBP I found. It was much cheaper and had the XLR8 cat back already installed. She was $4k less but I couldn't feel comfortable buying a car in California and having it shipped to New Orleans and I couldn't set aside 4 days to drive it back so I bailed.

For sure. It was completely stock otherwise. I do feel better knowing mine was stock so it is like a blank canvas ready to be painted. I'm definitely keeping the stock look. I'm probably just getting the A-spec kit, vinyl the roof gloss black, stage 3 exhaust with j pipe and HFC or PCD. Not looking to be tacky, just have my fun and turn a few heads here and there.

Sounds like I can get the sides on ebay cheap and troung offered me a spare rear he has sitting in his house (thanks again bro) so I think I'm set. Once I collect the kit, it's just paint and sweat at that point. It's definitely an investment and I'm going to hold off on anything that isn't super necessary because of the timing belt service, hopefully next month or two. I just have to get my funds straight before I make any big moves. Maintenance before mods, that's the rule! Only reason I lowered the car was because one of my struts was leaking when I bought it and I had coilovers sitting in my living room taking up space so I kinda had to use them
My end goal is to make it look a lot like 04WDPSeDaN's TL. It's just so classy and a little exotic for what it is.

Last I heard all aspec were unobtanium.
I would be shocked if there was still inventory sitting on a shelf and if there are a few stragglers I doubt they will be original msrp.
344K on that OG turbo engine? That's pretty good!
