What I love about Tuesday is that I'm healthy and mostly happy and ready to seize the day nutz.

No one likes a braggart.... that's impressive ratios though.. does that include clean up or do they do it themselves?

Damn yesterday was a whirlwind day.. didn't touch AZ at all or anything non-work related... client prep in the morning into afternoon.. client meeting, happy hour... dinner at the riverwalk home before torrential rain/thunderstorms rolled in..

Did y'all get any of that crazy weather yesterday? Tornados and hail in certain parts of TX I heard.. The rain/thunderstorms did not kick in until about 11:30 PM for San Antone.

We're preparing for those storms in NOLA. I told my employees they get the evening off if the building gets sucked up!

Windy last night and a little bit of rain; torrential downpour this AM right at kid shuffle and commute time so that was fun.

You finding enough smoked meat there in SA?

I treat it the same was as hardboiled eggs... Right after they finish and while they're still hot, I smash them into the counter and peel the outer layer off. Discard shell and consume.

went to a tourist trap last night for dinner and opted for country fried instead of smoked… much regrets, it was not good at all. The chile con queso wasnt bad though, should have gone against my instinct and gotten BBQ

My cousin recommend this place in SA. Not sure if it’s still good thou as I haven’t been in like 5 years.

Bakery Lorraine at the Pearl

edit: looks like they have a few locations in SA and one in Austin.
one of the locations is at the rim

I've never been to SA, but I know that the Riverwalk is A Thing... and it's to be avoided for anything of quality.

Need to find some bubba ass looking guy and ask where the best place to eat is. If he's got more than 10 teeth, find someone else.

Torchy's is good though, for real.

They've since renamed it in the menu, but I always got the Dirty Sanchez there.

Bonus, because they also had a taco called that too.

I really wanted to just go see it to say i've done it and then walk to the Alamo and scream, "I REMEMBER!" and then walk away.

Looks like they removed Sanchez/Dirty Sanchez from the menu online completely, shame.. it was really good. I'm looking forward to trying the Roscoe (chicken and waffle) taco because obvious reasons.

How could you? It's such an substantial part of Texas culture.. I especially liked the part where Luke finds out Darth Vader is his father and Frodo throws that wedding band into the volcano to complete the divorce proceedings.
