whoa whao whao, I may speed but no wreck has ever been my fault. Except 1 i don't hit them, they hit me, like I'm some retard magnet

It's actually gotten me down on my car since I've been hit 3 times in 4 months now. I take the car in for repairs next Monday, thank god. I should have my garage finished in 2 weeks then it'll be time for the 105k service so I'm gonna knock out as much as I can during a week off. So if anyone could link me up to what the noise is from that would e sweet, I can only find people asking the same questions but from like 2007 w no replys when I search

^ I'm gonna guess that's it? Reading the threads I found they said bushings control arms an motor mounts, but I don't think it's motor mounts even though those will be replaced anyways. Sorry to sound naive but are the bushings in the control arm? I've never taken anything near there apart before and learn as I go like most of you.

It's more of a creak, like someone walking on old wood floors from scooby doo. I'm just going to add shocks and control arms/bushings to my mega list of upcoming repairs.

105k service (belt,plugs, etc.)
Brakes (rotors,pads)
Control arms
Finish front and side aspec

It'll be interesting to see if I can do it in a weekend

Have you thought about axles?

I just did 105k service as well and had to include the axles as mine were creaking/clicking during cold weather when I turn the wheel. After a while it goes away when the car warms up. The axles are super easy and cheap from advance auto parts. I paid 117$ for both.

I didn't do the compliance bushings tho.

It's not axle / driveshaft / CV joint. CV makes a clicking at full lock low speed turns. It's either your sway bar links or LCA compliance bushing. Apply some lube.

Switchbacks Problem

This could be a really stupid question...

I installed my switchbacks today, but I'm having a little problem. Instead of the parking lights being white, they are amber. My turn signals are blinking white instead of amber. Did I install something wrong or did I just get the wrong switchbacks? These are the EXACT ones that I bought...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121043789927...84.m1439.l2649

60 SMD LED 1157 7528 2357 Turn Signal Switchback Lights
Brand new and high quality

Low power consumption
Long service life up to 50,000 hours
Size: about 48 x 2 cm
LED type: 3528 SMD

The white light can be used as parking light and yellow as turn singal light.

NOTE: If you want to use the bulbs as turn signal lights, you will need to add 50W load resistors to prevent them from hyper flashing.

Might turning the bulbs 180* and reinsert them work? Had a car once with dual "filament" that the bulbs would go either way and that determined which filament lit up.

Ok I think this has been brought up several times here but searching owns me. I can't seem to find anything anywhere on here.

My car will have hot air once the car first warms up. (I have to set the heat above 78 though) and after about 25-30 min driving time the air coming out will be cool. I have to bump the heat up even higher to get it to stay hot in the car. It seems to be getting worse now though. I have to have the heat up to 84 in order for it to stay hot in my car lately. I have it set to auto with the A/C off. I don't understand why it is doing this and I have checked the valve under the hood. It moves perfectly free from full closed to full open and i've even pulled over before to make sure it is still open and every time I do it is open.

Has anyone dealt with this or know where to steer me to help me out?

Thanks in advance.

really don't want to take this car to the dealer.

Yea either the cheap bulbs you got were manufactured wrong or you have them in wrong. You "shouldn't" be able to put them in backwards but it is possible.

some one said try greasing the cable.

Bummer...I'm going to guess they were manufactured wrong. They can't be put in wrong because the little beads are offset on the sides of the bulb.

Same

Slightly annoying but luckily we Floreedians and Teexins don't need much heat.
