I will be calling my Acura dealership to get all the info and hopefully get the ball rolling for mine! I will post as soon as I get some information.

Just stopped off at my dealership. All they had was the plain 07 TL. It's got the same tail ights and front end as the TL-S.
The TL-S is pricing at 38700 is what they told me. They are supposed to call me when the first one comes in ( they said next week ). He told me NO discounts to the general public, but if I wanted one, they could knock off 500 bucks as a repeat customer.
But they ooo'd and ahhh'd over my car. Really felt good.
The key fob is cool. Key comes out like a switchblade.

How are you able to use it with older TL's? The 07's are now laser cut? You could probably just use the fob, but how are you going to get it cut?

way to many pages in this thread to read through all of them again, sorry for asking out right, but I was trying to build a TL on the Acura website and they do not seem to have the option to add the front body kit. Did they take that out of the 07's?

OOH.
First off I've been reading this thread for a while (every page ) Some really good info. Thanks!
My dealer called me the moment it came off the truck. i was there 2 hrs later and I must say the Type-S is quite beautiful in Red. The wheels look really good on it as well as the exhaust.
Interior hasn't changed to much, 3 spoke wheel was easy to handle. Although I would of preferred it to be a bit thicker then it was. I'm a big guy, 6'5" 250lbs, and I easily fit nicely in it with room for an avg adult behind me.
The guages are vibrant and extremly easy to read. No cheesiness about them.
The Navigation system does seem updated as I always found the '06 Nav to be grainy compared to my '02 camry nav even. The new one is much more easier to read and the fonts look more solid. XM Traffic Nav is decent. Shows green/yellow/red lines around the highways for traffic. XM Info can be displayed on nav screen or on upper display where zone temps are located.
I hookedup my treo bluetooth phone in under 30sec and was working fine. I forgot to check addressbook translation, but I did see an icon for it.
Took it out for a quick testdrive. Felt like a very solid car. Extremly smooth shifting gears in automatic or when using the shifter/paddles. Handled the corners very well and overall I was impressed with the engine. I wasn't too sure about acelleration as I've been driving my bro's '04 M3 for a week now and I think i'm spoiled It definately felt like it had some muscle under there.
The Exhaust sounds pretty good when u start it up, and the quad exhaust in the back looks awesome.
Cost: $38,725
+Dealer added MusicLink cable for hooking up and controlling ipods in the glove box for $430
+Wheel Locks (diff then '06) $150
+Splash Guards for the tires that were same color as the body $350
+Clear Front Protective screen (like a bra but clear and thin like film) $375
+tax,titles fees etc,
Came to about $42K out the door
This is from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
I'm going to buy one soon.. anyone got better pricing?

According to the 2007 TL Owners Manual. the Aux input is a juack located in the bottom storage bin of the Console Armrest. It's a 1/8 jack located under the power outlet.
(I would attach an image if I understood what "script prompt" and "text to be formatted" means when you click 'Insert Image').

Go to techinfo.honda.com, click on 'owners manuals', then '2007 model year', and then on the '2007 Acura TL Owners Manual'. Look at the end of the audio section and you'll see the Aux Input.
It may come with an adapter cable but it doesn't look like it. The above picture may be deceiving.

2007 TL Pricing
I purchased a 2007 TL auto with navi on Saturday in central Virginia. Window sticker of $36,795 and I paid $35,350. Plus paid dealer processing of $249.
I also got above KBB excellent condition value on my 2001 trade-in with the deal.
Shop around and you can get a fair deal.

At that price aren't you at least curious what the same money (or a little less) would get you in a 2007 G35?
Help me see the Acura light because that just seems a little steep to me.

If performance is the main motivator- I would be asking why not look at the 335i sedan at that price???

Tzulo,
Can you comment on whether the rear seat in the TLS is an actual 60/40 type split fold? The acura website isn't clear on if its a small pass thru opening or an actual fold.
Thanks.

Okay guys. I've been laying low as this thread is out-of-control !!!
Now comes the big decision. My '04 TL, which I love, will be three years old next month, so a new car is on the horizon. Got the new TL brochure last night, and the bronze Type-S certainly has its appeal...
But I will be test-driving the '07 G35 AWD at the end of Oct., and seeing what both Acura and Infiniti will do to get me into their car. After six Acuras, it'll be hard to break away...

OK guys I drove the type S today....so glad I didn't wear underwear. It rocked!, it feels faster and stronger but, I wouldn't say its a huge change from the 3.2, it sounds awesome when you floor it and the passing punch is way better, also the steering feels heavier, I took it on some streets and the highway so I got a good test drive for the feel of the car. My dealer has 3 of them a Red, Silver and Black one also they had a base in Carbon bronze. I think I'm going to order one in Nov after its been out a month or 2 so the lease price won't eat my walet. I think fluffy had more fun then I did.

I drove it today, not sure on the 0-60 but I would guess by the feel and my years of driving about 5.5 to 5.7 sec

Thats cuz everyone wants to test drive one at once. don't ask your salesmen, ask a sales mgr or a cus service mgr. tell them that some dealer in the same state got some in already, I bet they will spit it out then.
