Custom exhaust
I am looking to possibly make the RDX exhaust a little more aggressive and would like some advice. First I want to know if it will mess with the warrenty at all.
Essentially I want to hear the turbo better and have a little deeper grawl to it. What do you guys think?

after looking underneith my rdx. i looked at the exhaust and saw 2 resonators that were like 3ft long. remove those and have pipes made. keep the stock mufflers and youll see how loud it will be

Remove resonators and you liable to end up with a drone and certain rpms, can be very annoying.

not always. my 99 sohc boosted civic had a 3in exhaust no resonator with a magnaflow muffler didnt have a drone sound. if they made a cat back exhaust for this car thats the first thing to go is those resonators

When I wore a younger man's clothes I did the "cut out the resonators" mods to exhausts and gotta say that they sounded awesome and didn't cost much at all. As I have grown older, raised children and grandchildren and have a wife with some genetic hearing loss, the RDX exhaust sounds great to us. Yes, I still love the growl, but have learned what was wisely stated here: wait till someone engineers an exhaust taking into consideration the many issues involved.
My other car is my loud car, but its exhaust was designed for that car, with a high flow cat and a well placed resonator. Too much bass for my wife, but I love it! So, I get my flashbacks alone on a rural road.

The challenge is usually the cats are the restriction. I would prefer fast and quiet rather than fast and loud. I used to drive/ride a lot at speeds if I was caught would likely result in a trip to jail. I like to think I've mellowed a bit with age but I really don't want to attract undue attention. One of my bikes is just too freakin' loud to get on it very hard for very long other than at a track. If I open it up on the street I'll alert the police for miles away.
I would definitely like to keep on the quieter side with the RDX but I wouldn't be opposed to a bit louder. OTOH a 4 cyl in a car doesn't sound as near as nice as on a bike so I am not sure I want super loud 4 banger.
