Emissions System Problem

Anybody get this message and know what it may mean. "Emissions System Problem. Power May be Reduced. See your dealer."
2020 Tech with 720 miles on it.
Had driven it about 5 miles and it came on after starting to go from a stop light.
And so it begins I guess.

Bring it to a dealer. There’s no way we would know from what you’ve described or what the computer tells you.

Thanks, bringing it in Monday morning. Was just wondering if others had seen this issue early in their ownership of the RDX.

I put just short of a full tank of premium on Friday, so 2 days ago. (I had a gift card to finish off, so did get to completely full, if that matters)

The most common reason for this on a new'ish car is the gas cap. If the cap isn't closed properly (or the door on capless cars), then the car can throw a code. Check the gasket to make sure that there is no debris there and (with a cap) make sure you tighten it until it clicks a couple of times.

Take the cap off, put it back on and remember that it can take several start cycles to clear the code.

The RDX doesn’t have a gas cap. It’s capless.

Sure. You still need to check the gasket for debris.

When mine happened they took the back seat out and checked something related to the fuel, but found nothing wrong. The good news is that it has never come back, so hopefully yours won't either.

Emission System Problem always comes with OBDII code(s). So if you have a OBDII scanner, you can read the code(s) and immediately know what went wrong without visiting dealership.

and most autoparts stores (Autozone, Advance Auto, Pep Boys etc.) will scan your car for free in a couple of minutes.
