What is this line of dots for?
Most of the time the upper dot is highlighted, but every once in a while it shows one or two down.

The dots show which center info graphic you are currently on.

Scroll the Right Hand wheel and as the screens change so will the highlighted dot.

 

And this is as useless as..... ( insert your favorite metaphor ).

 

..... as the words “Minimal” on the blank screen...

 

It's like "This page intently left blank." if the screen was just blank, there would be numerous threads here about how "there's something wrong with one my center dash displays - it's just blank".

 

LOL to all the responses...this one had me until someone explained it. To think, this was someones idea, it was approved, and then executed.

 

Right lol has to have something its either that or it fades in and out which would be distracting to the driver. or if dark people thing something is wrong lol.

This is completely random, but looking at the speedo, for Canadian cars is the outer ring with the big font km/hr and the inner ring mph, or is it the same as USA spec?

That's how it is on 99.9% of Canadian spec vehicles. Big Km/h ring and smaller MPH ring in the inside.

 

I couldn't agree more. But, Acura knowing their customer base, they did this likely knowing that most of their consumers are beyond stupid and would rush to the dealer if they left that screen blank thinking their center display had stopped working.

 

You are making "great" MPG (24.3), you must drive very easy on the right foot...!

 

No kidding. 20.3 is about the best I have ever seen.
