Could someone post a pic of their RDX base console?

Hi Folks,

I'm considering buying an RDX.

Could someone post a pic of their RDX base console?

I want to see what the screen looks like for the rear view camera.

All the pics I see are for the RDX tech.

TIA

I have the Tech, but have driven the non-tech. The screen is about 1/2 the size for the back-up camera compared to the Tech version, not to mention a very simplistic audio display also the same smaller size. This feature alone justifies for me the Tech version.

If rear view camera is important to you then you should lean more towards the tech version. The large and clear view improves the confidence while reversing.

I have the base and have no issues seeing what's on the display when backing up. I can easily get the rear bumper to within an inch of whatever is behind me, provided the lens is relatively clean. Keep in mind that there are wide-view and top-down modes you can select for different view angles as well.

Thanks everyone for the pics.

And cool! I didn't know about the modes.

Honestly I turn around to look most of the time when backing up.

I like to use the camera first to check for pedestrians, etc though.

I'm sure that the base RDX camera is just fine. All I wanted to say is that the screen is a bit bigger and I like that as it increases the image resolution.
Yes the three viewing modes are an awesome feature of Acura. I mostly use the wide view and usually you can see up to 180 degrees rearwards. It is very useful when backing out from a driveway / parking spot when your direct view is blocked by other vehicles / objects.

Thanks. Just curious. What does the bottom part of the screen show? I mean the separate display at the bottom of screen.

AC set temperature. One number each side for driver and passenger.

I like how this new generation still looks complete without navi. The 07-12 models had that huge black display and big empty panels on the bottom that looked like they were missing something.
