Picking up my Base 08 RDX next Wednesday and I have an odd question about the center console. Is there a way to change what and how it is displayed in the console on the base model? I find it just looks sooooo borring. Same kind of display that was in cars in the early 90s but on a much larger screen. Wasn't sure if you can select different displays, etc... This is the only complaint I have found in regards to the appearance.

Part of me wishes I went for the tech package because of the look of the screen, but i just don't need it unfortunately so I couldn't justify the money.

 

I hear you. I couldn't justify the Tech Pkg either. I had a FX35 w/o nav and that screen was worse than the RDX.
