Going through a pint + of oil a week
Hello new hear, I have a 09 Acura tsx I have had it over ten years and the car itself is great but….. I recently have noticed my car going through a good amount of oil lately. I drive about 500 miles a week traveling to work and by the end of the week I have to put about a quart of oil in. I have tried changing out the pcv valve in hopes that’s what it is but no luck I’m looking here in hopes I can get some help. Any info is appreciated thank you!

Zeta is right - first confirm that it's burning the oil and not leaking it.
If it is burning oil - some suggest running Seafoam or Marvel Mystery Oil thru the engine for a couple hundred miles before your next oil change. The idea is carbon and sludge buildup on the cylinder walls cause the piston rings to not make a perfect seal, allowing oil to be burned along with the air/fuel mixture.

So I put in some of the high mileage sea foam and it seemed to help quiet my car down even know I never thought of it to be loud but it still seems to be leaking/burning oil. Still no oil leaked under the car that I can notice I park in the garage and I don’t see any new oil marks where I park. I’m just at a loss as to what could cause my car to burn so much oil so quickly. I literally just did a lol change after putting the sea foam in and it has burned through 1/4 if not 1/2 of the oil in just a few days. Not sure if it could be major internal damage like scored cylinders or the rings are stuck or something I cant think of any other reason my car would burn so much oil in such a short period of time. Again any help is much appreciated!
The fundamental issue is that your piston rings aren't sealing in the cylinder, so oil is getting pushed up into the combustion chamber.
So how do you fix that?
Doing some more reading... you could try the next several oil changes (with more frequent intervals) with Valvoline Restore&Protect. If that doesn't work, a piston soak is the next step. Google "piston soak honda k24" for more info.

I will do a search for that I appreciate the feedback. But do you happen to know if the piston soak can be done with the engine still in one piece of is this something that needs to be done once the engine is torn down? I just don’t have another vehicle to be able to get to work and back so I wouldn’t be able to tear the engine down.
Follow his instructions but the one thing he screwed up on is in order to keep the B12 from flying out all over the place .. you need to put a white t-shirt or cloth folded over a few times , the length of all the piston holes with something laying on top to hold it in place when you turn the motor over the final step . This will also allow you to see what should be 4 very dark circles showing the liquid that shot up to the t-shirt or cloth which is a good sign fwir. I put the video start time after he had tried the Seafoam and STP which did not solve his oil burning.. so at this point he is using B12 for the first time.
Same thing here w/ oil
