OFFICIAL Hondata Flashpro Calibration/Tuning Thread
Thanks
I'm guessing I'm close to an optimized tune, Last cal VIT sent me was left with instructions to "Go have fun with this one" while datalogging. I attached so called "FUN" datalog i sent him tonight if there is any vested interest. Let me know what you think. Car feels healthy, feels good to push her hard again.

Skunk2 header, single exit 60mm cat back, AEM intake... Lol Nobody really looks at people's sig's do they? If you are wondering how in the hell VIT got to my tune so fast I upgraded to priority status about a week ago. I've been through more than ten cal's this last week
Really?? That's crazy I didn't know it didn't show the sig every post?! I'm on my 29th calibration (3.3).. It was an extra 80 bucks you pay just for the upgrade on his website just like how you purchased the flashpro/tune from him.
Don't worry.. You will be there soon.. The datalog graphs a/f, knock count, speed, rpm etc..
If they were as generic as you think I would. I run on 93 octane, in 90 degree weather, practically sea level, m/t and catless. You really wanna try my tune on your car.??. You really have to go for the "vit" experience (that goes for you too iCrap) I can't recommend it enough. Quit being asian guys, you won't regret it.
Lol It's torture!.. This is the exact reason I bucked up and payed for priority, he did in a week what took almost a month on normal status. Your setup will prob take a little longer to tune since forced induction is a whole diff ball game. We all want vids once it's done though!

Well, it's not Vit that's the bottleneck.. it's me. I can only get one datalog a day because of work and other life events. But yeah, I know it'll take a little longer. I'm patient.
You guys will get videos I promise! GoPro-ing is fun for me. I like editing the videos. One day I'll be as good as vossen. Just need moar pan, and more slow-mo cut scenes with lens flare haha

I'm on tune 63...
Still going. I need an external wide band.
Just such a bum deal, I just won a bid for a 07 sti that I'm going to swap the parts over to my 02 impreza.... she's going to be lots of fun....
money...choices...stuff.

I'd go for a real tune but, I'm pretty content with what I have right now knowing that I'm riding in an inline 4 slushbox. If I ever get my hands on a used RV6 HFC, and if/when RV6 releases their catback exhaust, then I might consider a personal (e)tune. Maybe then I might as well throw a CAI in there to see if there's any real benefit or not. But... again it's a 5AT so perf isn't high up on my priority list either. I love the mods, but I'm also a sucker for aesthetic mods too

I'd love to invest the performance-mods money on an AP2 when time comes I can afford one after having "bought" a house/condo though. Don't see that happening for at least another couple years though
When I go for a drive it is like less than 8 miles. I don't do a lot of driving.
However, I started doing the tunes last year. around august or september I think?
I did take it out on the highway the other day, I actually did really well mpg wise.
It is kind of sad though, I have to pull the car out of the garage to clean it because it collects dust so quickly.
My kids really like going for rides in it, but that's about the extent of it.

^^ Correct.
I really like the car. Started replacing bushings.
Just sourced through a shop up in Chicago an entire 2007 sti that was wrecked. Going to take all the good parts and swap out her heart. After that's finished up I think I'll revert the tsx back to factory, as I've had a few people ask to buy the car.
Weird, it was the mechanics that helped put the turbo kit on. They said I've maintained it so well, and it's always been garaged...

Back to stock eh. Will you be selling your parts? Aside from the turbo and everything related to it, what other parts might be up for sale? You can PM me to keep from cluttering this thread.
My OBDII connector.. like my actual car connector is kinda loose. I can reach below my dash and wobble the connector near the fuse box. The actual connection to the flashpro when I plug it in is tight, just the white female OBDII seems loose.
And yeah I always thought it was counter-intuitive to have the flashpro permanently connected to the OBDII side and not the USB side. I have to unplug it every single time to upload logs. Does everyone else have something different?????

Mine got so loose like joe and optimus I did a million tunes with vit, so I put some 100% silicone adhesive (strong stuff) around the top and bonded it to the metal bracket it is rock solid now the only bad part was the fumes very strong for about 3-4 days
How to pass emission testing
My car was set up for off road racing use only with My FlashPro-------and I needed to put it back to stock so I could pass the emission testing and drive it on the road
Well I learned a few things while getting my car to pass emission testing, I put the converter and secondary o2 sensor back on my car and plugged into the emission machine to see what was failing before I turned all the monitors back on and to my surprise it just passed my car, the monitors that were off just showed up as not available, I thought the monitors would be not ready and fail, the converter was the only not ready but we can have one not ready and still pass emission test WOW. so I turned the monitors back on and drove my car home and it passed every thing but the EVAP test but on the way back to work the next morning it was all ready and no check engine light and it passed

I really can't understand why hondata would not design the flashpro so that the unit side could disconnect from the vehicle so that you can permanently leave the OBDII connector installed. It's really a pain!
[QUOTE=ssjoeboe9;15439959]This might be a good idea. I might do something like this too! Also, are you completely done with tuning now?
Yes I was done about 1 moths after the new engine build I think it was 50 something data logs and revisions still runs like a champ, looking into a new turbo soon and will need a retune then
