If you end up using this option, make sure you adjust the "Overrun fuel cut delay" to about 40-50 (or lower)for a smoother throttle closing. That option is in the "Fuel" tab.
After "unchecking" Overrun throttle opening, which settings for overrun fuel cut delay have you found to be the smoothest transitioning from gear to gear? Can you post a pic?

I'd rather be lazy and use your settings lol... have you noticed a big difference? Or is drive-ability decreased with this change?

I put 40 for all gears. I can try to take a pic later.
It did take some getting used to but I like it this way because it now feels like I have a "throttle cable" type feel that I missed so much. My next goal is to get rid of that drive-by-wire delay. Not sure how I can do that though.

You can do it! It's in the FP somewhere, it's actually how Honda puts its newer cars in "ECON" mode, it just limits the throttle position vs. how much ECU responds to that position.

i.e. in normal mode throttle 1/2 way down= 50% throttle

In econ mode throttle 1/2 way down= 35% throttle

**Edit-- I should also add that there is voltage delay too ( to reduce jerkiness).. so on a 5V scale throttle 1/2 way= 2.5V and 50% throttle however there is a few milisecond delay the ECU adds before it send the signal of 2.5V so there is a steady climb in acceleration instead of spinning the wheels.

Nice! Now to get rid of that pedal delay. Rev hang was a major annoyance to me. I miss the old cable throttle days.
You should try changing the overrun to "40". It will feel even better.

Maybe if you are an authorized hondata pro tuner, even then I'm not sure what they are equipped with as I believe all newer car hondata products for tuning simply reflash the factory computer (no standalone). Even then what would be the purpose of bench coding the ecu? The flashpro is designed to be used through the obd2 port so you couldn't use that to bench flash the ecu.

You could try contacting hondata directly with any questions in regards to this. I believe if you send the ecu in to them they can flash it.. Recoding to work with a swap Im not sure but you do pay to have them to reflash it every time it's sent in and that's usually a basemap with certain generic setups that would correlate as closely as possible to yours. Where with flashpro you have self-tune ability.

You can start as low as 10, then 20 and so on until you like how it drives.
The last tab "5" counts for both 5th and 6th gears.

Btw.. iselfdevi suggest 40 across the board, just for reference. He said he liked this setting the most.

Good to hear! I want to post vids but the delay caused by the drive-by-wire system bums me out. I can even rev match correctly because it's so dam slow to respond. it really sucks. I heard about the sprint booster but it's ridiculously over priced for what it does. I wish hondata had a setting to get rid of this delay.

Bro.. I told you can do this in Hondata already. Check the link below

Did you post on the Hondata forums? Maybe they could make something happen

No I haven't. From what I gather, it's just the way some DBW systems are. I will try changing my tplate table to a 1:1 but I don't think it's going to give me what I'm looking for.

I was wondering what you can control under sensors and misc and such.
Also you guys know if you can simply shut off vsa/ tc with flashpro?
I am wondering because my tpms lights are on and so traction control is always on :/

You can't disable the vsa through flashpro. I had my tpms light on before and it was because of a battery failure in one of my wheel sensors.

But.. but.. there is an option to disable VSA. It's under the MISC tab with all the other engine codes.

Pretty sure you have to get this for that button to work...

I think i read somewhere before that it only works on some other cars, not the TSX.

What I really don't like is the fact that if we want ANY other input to feed to the flashpro unit/oem ECU, Hondata only gives 1 option (ELD pin).

Sooo we can't have Wideband and traction control?? It's stupid!

I believe that the vsa on/off option is only for certain cars that don't have vsa. It only disables the vsa within the ecu not the actual vsa system itself. In our cars, our vsa system will still be active regardless if you turned it off or on via flashpro.
At least we can disable it by pressing the button on our dash.
