Interior lights for audio system

I never realized this but the buttons on the audio system in my car don't light up. Is this normal are the lights burnt out?

They light up. Should probably visit the dealer.

Can anybody else confirm? I have the non tech package. Is that why the center stack doesn't light up? For example, the air conditioning controls all light up but I can't see the buttons lit up for the track controls or anything other than that orange light where the disc goes.

I saw a video on YouTube of some guy recording his drive and it didn't look like his lit up either.

Just noticed this thread. When you turn on the parking light or headlights, all the buttons on the centre console should lit up as well as the buttons on the steering wheel (HFL controls as well as MID controls).

If all the other lights works, then it's the light bulb. If the centre console buttons are all dark, then check the dimmer switch (turn clockwise to brighten), and then the fuse relay.

No sure how installing a sub would mess up the audio light switch, it's possible but I don't have the wiring schematics.

Thanks for the response. Steering wheel lights up too. Where is the dimmer switch? Sorry to ask such a silly question.

The instrument brightness control knob (dimmer switch) is located by the fuel gauge.
