That is what sets Acura apart...affordability.

BTW you can get a new 08 G35 Sedan for about 36k. (Journey w/ Premium and Nav) At least in LA you can.

Maybe I should look at the sedan...

BTW, it is rumored the 3.7 liter engine will be moving to the sedan as well. May explain the nice discount off mrsp. There may possibly be a 2009/10 G37 Sedan.
P.S. If you like the G35 Sedan, wait for the new Acura TL [300hp+ with sh-awd - heavily rumored but not confirmed]. Most likely around the same price range as well.

If you visit other online forums for cars, our products are looked down up from the majority of the public in terms or perception. Upscale Honda is all I ever see. Now take that and apply it to Lexus, which shares a common design theme across the board from Camry to LS460, and it just shows you how the Marketing Machine that is the YODA fools the general public into thinking that they are seperated and far superior. Look at a Camry and the flagship LS460: their bodies have almost the same exact styling cues. Consumer Reports just released their study showing BRAND AWARENESS from Joe Public and ACURA ranked last as far as upscale brands goes. With some very good products and even better ones on the way, Acura should really seize this moment and do whatever it takes to build this brand image. Outspend the others to get your products in the face of the general public. The buyers will come if you just show them what kind of WORLD-CLASS cars we make and sell.

I completely agree, on the interactive network, acura had a survey on how introduce the new TSX. But I doubt they will listen to any of us. We just flew down to Louiville to buy the Honda rep's cars last week( I'm PA). Is your market any better than ours?

What kind of options did they give you, and how did you personally want it to be introduced?

They don't have blinkers in the side mirrors either.

Yup those are quite old. I think they were posted earlier in this thread.
Those do appear to be LED tail lights.

Those lights look great. If the new TL will have it, I don't feel it will be on the TSX, at least the first year. Well... no prove... no extra information... it's just my feeling that Acura must to have something that make the TL to be upper class than TSX.

question any body could tell me?
i have heard TSX is coming out on april. and the base might be k23 turbo used in RDX. well...i have heard different things from different source.
so, i have a few question to ask:
1. is the base model using K23 found in RDX? the type -s using V6?
2. are they going to use advanced VTEC, even the egine might be K23 turbo?
3. how much is the car gonna cost?
3. is the gas milage gonna be improved ?
4. gasoline vs diesel , which one is better based on price and efficiency and other etc...?

None, but until you can prove it it is all rumors. Show me a paper that can back up your claims.

Business is pretty good here with the exception of this month. I took S.P.O.T.Y. honors here so I really have nothing to complain about from the sales side. If anyone has visited AUTOSPIES today, you'll notice the lead story is of the RL debuting in Chicago just like I mentioned a few days ago on this same thread. But as you will notice the picture from the lead story is that of none other (you guessed it) the Sport4 concept. Acura has a serious issue of not listening to it's fan base and building the cars we would love to see built (re: HSC concept, sport4 concept). The new TSX has no chance of staying true to that concept whereas it is a much smaller car than what is expected to be released (close to the size of the current TL). And if your read the comments regarding that picture of the Sport4, the VAST MAJORITY like that design. At least the news is starting to build interest in OTHER FORUMS NOT related to Honda/Acura products. We need spy photos or real information about these cars NOW to really pique the interests of the car enthusiasts. Average Joe doesn't car about products until it's time to go shopping for one. CAR ENTHUSIASTS will wait until a car they like is built and then purchase (re: 1-series fans). So leaking information is only a good thing to bring in the true car fans. Now let's see one undisguised. But once again, all we can do is wait......and wait......

Dont' worry SALES1, there are always a few idiots in the crowd. The information that you and I received is geniune. We told all of you the RL was coming for Chicago and low and behold. The information we are passing along comes from the people that want us to tell this information. We need to generate excitement about our cars and this is the way to do it. Pass along information straight from the top. If they are lying to us, then so be it, but why would they. They know we can't wait to see and drive these cars and as soon as we do, you guys will be the first to know our impressions.

If they want to generate some buzz, they should release some official press releases (so we know for fact the info is genuine) and some more spy shots of the actual cars. It's not rocket science!
Don't get us wrong, we appreciate the info, but until it's straight from Honda in a press release, it's hard to take it 100% seriously. Without real proof, everything is speculation.

Do you really think it will look much different than the Euro Accord we've already seen? Besides the grill and maybe a few trim pieces I'm willing to bet thats it.

If Acura's plans are to go global by 2010, then the EuroAccord should look nothing like the TSX. I for one thought the TSX should have been the Sport4 all along with a coupe version released along side. Acura/Honda have generated good buzz among the community with only 2 concepts in recent years. The HSC and the Sport4. Advanced sedan concept: flop. Advanced Sport concept: flop. Hell, even the MDX concept didn't generate positive response, but the production version is a GREAT car. The new design studio for Acura EXCLUSIVE products had better step it up.

Honda loves badge swapping and they're willing to have a single model Acura and Honda in the same market as is the case with the CSX in Canada. They once sold an Isuzu Trooper as an Acura - with a straight face. If anything they simply won't offer the Acura TSX there.

Dont be bad talking the "legendary" Acura SLX Suv (just kidding). I understand your point of view. But with the information and direction Acura is said to be going, the TSX points to something different. Within an inch or two to current dimensions of the TL. That Sport4 looks something to the size of a legitimate 3 series car. And with the photos (all 3-5 of them) that have surfaced in recent months, I do see a BIGGER car. Hopefully this is just a VERY FAT TEST MULE. But I don't see a lot of camo that hides the FLOW of the lines that we've seen.
And HONDA and ACURA are trying to seperate. I really don't think that a EURO-ACCORD is coming here for the sheer fact that ACURA is going to be selling TSXs there in a few years.
What everyone fails to mention when mentioning the badge sharing is that a TSX is really a EuroAccord TYPE-R. Now to me, when someone says that, it sounds a whole lot nicer. And with regards to the TL sharing Accord over here, tell them to drive them back to back and see which ones is worlds ahead of the other as far as driving impressions go.
At least their styling is completely different. With the new TL, I don't see it becoming a LARGE SIZE car like the current Accord became. If it does, we're HISTORY.

vtec.net doesn't like hotlinking aparently, but I want people to see how precisely similar the front of the spied TSX is to the Tourer teaser incase anyone is still hoping in vane that the TSX will look any different. Notice that the spied car even has the Acura grill where the teaser Accord has a Honda grill.
