An old volvo wagon would be pretty sweet, although the body style I'm thinking of are getting harder and harder to find, especially under 250k miles.

A Ford Ranger would be cool too and allow me to transport big stuff if I ever wanted to. For around 1500 will get you one with around 200k miles. That's kind of pushing it mile wise for me and I'd like one I don't have worry about dumping more money into in the near future.

^then you're going to have to up your budget to about $5k.

$1500-2500 cars are great but do come with a little maintenance.

i'm just not willing to spend more than $3k for the vehicle itself, cuz i already have one.

Update-- The double sided velcro method worked really well for securing my jump battery in my trunk. It's been a couple of weeks and many round-abouts and it's still secure.

I deem this approach A+ for anyone else who needs to secure something in their trunk.

Good Day!

I'm going to do the same thing. Instead of buying the CarGo 90° velcro things I'm just going to stick the velcro to my portable charger, tool set, and to the bottom of a plastic container box. Problem solved!

Damn, hope you're physically okay man.

Quick question - after having my coilovers installed, I've noticed some creaking sounds in the rear after stopped (and parked). If I sit in the car and move around, it'll creak a little as well. Anyone potentially know why?

Luckily, the car flooded so I'm physically ok haha. Looking at some cars right now and I think Q50 is the most plausible

No fun pills. I've only been taking a couple ibuprofen each day since the pain really isn't all that bad. I was really bummed they were out of nitrous and I didn't get to david after dentist it. I've never been on it before and wished I was when they got pulled since I almost passed out. I don't do well with blood and the cracking sound as she twisted the teeth out didn't help.

Nope I was wide awake. She offered to give me some pill (forgot the name) to make me feel less anxious about the procedure. I wouldn't be able to drive afterwards I'd likely want to sleep once it was done and waste my Saturday. Also, my girlfriend is my dentist so I get things for freeeeee. Bad part is she's 1.5 hours away so this is the first time she's done any work on me.

its all good until they BREAK when they on the way out.

3 of mine were clean like OP.
over the counter for 24 hours.
thats it.

but one of them had its own wisdom that it didnt want to let go. doctor squeezes harder
and bang it breaks. now every piece of thatr snaggle root needs OUT. fun. when the dentist tells the assistant 'get the kit' its over.

i also had the dentist pulling #15 its upper second molar.
it broke.
then while trying to get the pieces out he poked a hole into my sinus.......look it up.
did some shit patch job, gave me MR PERKY and sent me home. patch fell apart before I went to sleep.
woke up in morning. felt the stiches but no patch.

i sip the coffee and it comes out my farking nose.
yup. hole from my mouth into my sinus.

what a mess. had to cancel a trip to beach house.
dentist tried once more but it was futile.

took about month for the hole to seal up.

Wide awake posse, checking in!

I had mine pulled with just a local anesthesia. Dr. was wearing glasses and I watched the whole thing in the reflection.

I don't want to do that again.

Went home and went to bed. My mommy said I woke up two days later. Appointment was on a Friday and the next thing I remember was Sunday evening. Probably because of the little tablets of white helpers they gave me.

Yeah she told me that I likely wouldn't remember the procedure or the time afterwards if I took the pill beforehand. Said it was kind of like a roofie. She would probably have taken advantage of me afterwards

I didn't want to have to deal with leaving my car in her office parking lot overnight and wasting our limited weekend time together sleeping that evening. Don't worry though, action was still had.

Yep, she is. Pretty sweet benefits for me with that job. She was kind of nervous about doing work on me since things could have gone much worse like they did for robpp. Luckily everything turned out alright and it was easy.

I had 6 wisdom teeth instead of 4. Plus somehow I had even more extra teeth under my adult teeth. So for me they ended up removing 10-11 iirc. I think I had two surgeries because of it.

Oh and I woke up while they were trying to yank a tooth out, that was also fun.
