Yeah... I passed the first section.. and failed the mechanical lol Stupid HVAC haha

Anyways, Honda outlines clearly you get no pay increase for being a PE sooooo I guess it worked out for me haha.

I took the last written test ever for the FE.. now they are only 6hrs long, computer based and you know if you pass when you hit submit. It's cray cray.

Basically. I'm still stuck in the old mindset of Honda/Toyota above all with Germans and Italians way down the list.

Whether or not that is really true anymore, I still can't shake that anecdotal feeling.

But I also keep my vehicles for 10+ years an have historically bought used with 60k-100k+ already on them and all my Toyotas and Hondas have just run.

I guess I just stick with the devil I know.

That's more-or-less how it still works now. I got a 50% in my Linear Algebra midterm in first year, but the class average was like 30% or something stupid. Profs aren't allowed to fail the majority of the class so, just gotta ride the bell curve!

i feel you... ever since i owned a car, it has always been a honda and i can attest to its reliability.. this will be my first german car if ever and based on reviews, quality has been improved with the newer models.. i think..

I have 3 friends that have cars with the 2.0T engine, one had a 2007 A4 2.0T, one had a 2010 CC 2.0T and one had a 2006 Passat 2.0T. The A4 made it to 90k, the CC 60k and the Passat 100k. I would not expect Honda reliability out of those cars but if you're fine with that I don't think it'd be a terrible trade. My friend with the Passat has a 2015 GLI now and it's pretty nice. The new Si with the turbo engine is coming soon if you can wait.

I think you mean "skirts". And yeah, your write... The wagon is perfect for packing in the ladies. Maine chick in the front, three in the back seat, and as many as can pile in the way-back.

But I'm sure your familiar with packing them in... I bet that blower you got attracts all the guys on car night and your probably spending all night beating them off.

Supposably, "irregardless" is a perfectly valid word in some parts of the country.

I worked with a guy that, honest to goodness, used every single nonsensical word you can ever poke fun of.

He did it in all seriousness. I had to travel with him once and it slowly sunk in that he wasn't doing it ironically...

Some of my co workers say "acrossed" instead of across. I cringe every time I hear it. These are smart/educated engineers too... maybe it's a Midwest thing?

Many engineers have no concept of Engrish, hence why they chose engineering to begin with.

This one is very true!

My college roommate, and friend whom (lol) stood beside me at my wedding have a running joke.

I never had a problem with english or grammar, I was able to bypass those courses in college cause of my AP classes in high-school, but man he struggled so hard... He was writing an essay, I was studying calc I. After 30 minutes he turns to me and says "hey listen to this.. blah blah blah blah" and stops.. And I was like what's wrong bro?-- That it, that's all I wrote so far-- But dude.. you only wrote one sentence-- **responds** " I know, but it's a legit sentence!"

hahaha I can definitely attest to A LOT of engineers not doing well with english/grammar/ literature haha

I don't have it, but I've contemplated this as well and I've concluded it's probably not really worth it. Considering it's fairly expensive, I'd say costs vs. gains doesn't look very good with the HFC. If you really want it, wait for Christmas sale or something.

You could always get a shop to fab and put on a test pipe for you to try out. If no gains there, then definitely no gains from HFC.

My friend had a '13 GTI and traded it in for a G37S. Hard to trust a German car after warranty is over, so if you plan on keeping it longer term, I wouldn't do it.

Been awhile.

Finally hit 50k miles in my car also.

Should I order it from heeltoe?

I bought my rsb from excelerate. Between them and heeltoe it shouldn't really matter who you choose unless one is cheaper.
