Afternoon guys, it's been a long while since I've written anything about my 09/6MT (all stock unfortunately) but I have a bit of an issue that neither the dealer nor Acura corporate have a fix for:

Moonroof is open in the tilt position, I'm hearing a clicking when trying to open or close (auto, no glass movement) and slight movement and clicking when trying to partially open/close.

I don't use it that often, and first issue was yesterday after work, it closed eventually (~45 minute commute each way). Anybody have this issue? I can't see anything blocking the rails. My first thought is bad motor, and lord that fix looks like a sunnuva bitch.

ACTUALLY!!! I think someone here did have this problem. I believe it was iCrap.

If I remember correctly it was some broken slide component. He posted pictures and everything.

He has since totaled his TSX and got a G37.. so good luck finding the info.

What didn't they like about it? So even on the softer setting you still notice a difference compared to the stock one?

Also heeltoe did match the price of the other website, so I'll be buying from them, in case anyone else wants it also.

I think he meant coilovers. They probably didn't like loosing their tooth fillings from the jarring ride.

So quick fix, I was able to push down on the front edge of the glass while simultaneously pushing the close switch (thank god for long arms). Hopefully it'll retract at some point this weekend so I can check to see if there's some debris or if one of the rails is cracked.

Thanks again boys...also O-H!

Because it's so terrible you want to kill yourself?

Just kidding. Just because I hate it doesn't mean you need to hate it.

You can be wrong.

lol I mean, obviously you wouldn't drive around like that.. but the white LED DRL strip that is switch back (sequenced) turn signals is pretty damn sweet.

The jewel eyes fit well in there and I think the overall flow is not too bad.

The color switching is for show... but still kinda cool you can choose any color you want, any time you want.. cause why not?

If you choose a cool 5-6K white for the jewel eyes as your DD choice, you can't tell me you would still HATE these headlights?--If you do.. well. you're old anyways :P

Yeah, I actually respect the craftsmanship it takes to do that but the novelty is lost on me.

Plus I'm not a fan of the jewel eyes to start with. But like you said, I'm old.

If I needed to find a positive, I'd say that it doesn't look as bad as a double row application, like the RLX. Just not my cup of tea.

And fine, I suppose not everyone needs to agree with my opinions. But if I ever take over the world, those that don't will be "re-educated" first.

Metro restyling. Dot com or eBay.

Reasonable prices, good product, quick shipping. I've bought from them direct and via eBay an have nothing bad to say.

Hey joe. Fellow Dubliner here. I look for your car when I'm out and about; figure it'd be pretty easy to recognize. But I've never seen it. Though I get the impression from your posts that you may spend some time in FL? I'm in a '12 silver moon SE 6MT with 35% tint and debadged but otherwise stock. Probably the easiest way to tell me from most other TSX drivers I see is that I'm not a 50ish year old woman!

Oh dude awesome you're super close then! I haven't seen you around either.

It's soo true though haha every time I see another TSX it's always an old woman haha. I moved from FL 2 years ago now for a job up here, so we are bound to see each other some time lol My frequent routes are HWY 33 west towards Marysville, and Cosgray Rd out to Sports Ohio.

Do you come out to Columbus Cars and Coffee? I try to go often.. sometimes I get lazy lol I won't be out there the next 2 weekends cause Im taking vacation, but we should try and meet up out there. Im the only Acura.. ever lol
