how about the sway bar......I miss that/
yeah thats right....all holes.
I never got around to buying the center part. kk had one I dont know if he ever installed it.
The v6 fog vents let lots of air in and on the drivers side, air right into your intake area whether cai or oem deal.
I had the chrome fog shrouds color matched but of course they had a few chips.
so I found a set of black euro ones on the BM and snapped them up.
I never liked the chrome so they were perfect for me.

Yeah, I just installed the Open V6 ones. Never knew about the center grille... Those blocked out holes have bothered me so I might look into tracking one of them down!
Still on the fence about the silver fog light trim. They don't look bad on the FSM car, IMO so I'll probably stay with it. They do take a beating though, in just a few thousand miles there are quite a few chips already.

didn't turn out bad actually, but obviously not like the smooth OEM feel.
got to meet and hang out with our very own CU2VR1 this weekend!
a friend calls me up and asks me to meet him up at a vinyl shop.
I get there and I'm hanging out, when I hear a name being thrown out that I recognize.
turns out, VR1 came to the shop to get his grille vinyl'd. totally random!

that was saturday.
then on Sunday, I went to cars and coffee. I get a direct message on instagram showing me this pic!

AAAWWW how cute

), and some yahoo parks right next to me..."
Vr1, do you have any itching or redness today?

How often do you guys wax? I finished polishing the front part of my car and topped it with meguiars ultimate wax about 4 months ago. It's still beading water I believe:

here in texas, I generally found the 2 cool seasons opportune times to seal or wax the car.
waxing or sealing the car during autumn is important because it will protect it during the harshness of winter.
usually by the spring time rolls around, the sealant or wax will begin to fade. apply once more and you'll be protected against the sun during the summer!
also, fall and spring time are generally a lot cooler, giving you a better chance of applying product without it being too hot or too cold

I usually do one thorough detail in the spring after all the salt has been washed off the road. M105/205 as needed. Seal with 2 to 3 layers of the klasse twins over a few days. I also mix klasse sg into a megs quick detailer to use as a top up. I'll then wax once a month or so thru summer and fall. That usually puts enough layers on to get me thru winter to restart the cycle.
In the past I'd use Jetseal or Collinite exclusively and that'll get me thru everything, but it doesn't quite make the CBP pop. Need that carnuba.
The DA has also made me lazy and spoiled. Can't do anything by hand anymore.

I had a sweet trade going for a 2011 STi.. I was gunna do trade plus 3500. Unfortunately the guy used me for a test drive. He backed out saying he didn't want to worry about aftermarket parts breaking (if you were afraid then why waste my time??) Anyways the day after he told me no deal, he updated his craigslist add to say trade for manual TSX or TL only.
So I'm still here haha

Well the guy wasn't a car guy at all. I knew more about his STi than he did. I tried asking what his target boost was, and if he was reaching target, or overboosting... he had no idea. Asked what kinda whp gain he got from the mods.. he said he didn't know the accessport had that function.
From my understanding, this is/was his only car (which he bought new out of college) he owned and it seemed like maybe he had a friend tell him what to buy, and that was that. All in all, I think I overplayed the unique-ness of my build ( I was only trying to say that this car is really cool, because there aren't very many TSX's modified like this). I think it scared him, he mentioned he was nervous something would break and wouldn't know how to fix it.
I'm a little butt hurt, but ehhhh I can't say I didn't try... and my car looks on point now haha

I testdrove a Quattroporte GTS this weekend for fun. That giant car's got some nice acceleration! I was going 70 on a backroad and it felt like nothing at all. So nice and smooth at any speed.
Maybe I'll trade in my tsx for one.
