Trust me, I wasn't surprised when the job went away!

There are a few places it works great. And it was The Future™ at one point... But the future passed it over.
Moto Razr/Krzr: EL cash cows.
Late 90s / Early 00s Chrysler vehicles: Gauge cluster backlights
Timex Indiglo: EL
Uhh, first gen (in the US) Lotus Elise: Gauges
00's Merc E-Class w/ the floating speedo/tach needles: Gauge lighting
Acura/Honda Option door sills: EL Tape
and lots of other stuff. But since around 2005... Nuthin!
yeah looks way better. They shoulda just put those on from the factory lol
I just checked laminx, they dont have one for this car.

Yea, I actually had no idea how big they were until you showed me that comparo picture. I bought them that night lol. Especially if you have the modulo/sport bumper, they look waaaaaaaaay better.. Too much gap with the OEM ones.
Not specifically, you need to DIY:
One 12" x 40" Universal Headlight Cover or Tail Light Cover
Or by the roll:
6" x 75' Roll of DuraShield+ Paint Protection
12" x 15' Roll of our 12 mil Clear Lamin-x Protection

I dont get how laminx films are cut to the shape. When I had vinyl on my tail lights I was heating and stretching it to apply. How do the precut shapes fit correctly?
Also laminx is grossly overpriced.

I saw commercial for quickjack (QuickJack- Portable Car Lift- EZ Portable Car Lift - Ranger Products). After seeing that its $1000, I decided to search on craigslist...bad idea.

Did it work out in the end? I mean, didja finish?
saw it on the news.
IMO the best approach is to put credit alerts on all credit report pulls. the ONLY downside is you wont be given instant credit. the credit place, like experian, has to call you for a PIN to allow the credit report to be supplied. they do expire so you need to keep track o f them. or you could pay a place like Lifelock to do it all for you.
too many data breaches to keep track of. and how many do we not even know about.
also about every 6 months I rip up a card and get a new number. I only have 2 and a checking card so its not that hard.
they also use it to file fake tax returns SO to avoid that start your return early. and beat them to the punch. I also think you can set up something for extra verification with the IRS if you want that LOL

So I installed my CAI like 2 days ago. After installing I noticed a sound I never heard before. My cousin that helped install it said it sounded like the fuel injectors. Is that anything to be worried about and should I do something like seafoam to clean them? Car is at 47.5K miles. Kind of skeptical about products like seafoam and such because I've never used them and not sure if they do more good than harm.
Short video of the noise:
Most heard at the beginning and the end. This was the night it was installed, I feel like after driving a bit it's not as bad in the video, but I'd have to listen to it again before confirming.
