I think the Gilmour Foam Master is a popular pick ($40), but I think what I actually want is a foam cannon, not gun. The gun looks like it just wastes soap since it runs off the car so fast. Foam cannons are like $90-100 though, like the Kärcher Cannon.

I like Lexol too. It's under $20 for the cleaner and polish and I thought it made the leather a lot nicer.

I'm using OEM. Not gonna track the car so I don't think it'll matter too much for street use.

my pedal is all spongy and shit and i figure might as well change it when i install the rest of the stuff. And then there is that problem where it was freezing the pedal when it was cold outside.

i guess i need dot 5 or dot 5.1 but idk if oem is glycol or sillicone.

i wanna try autox this summer, dunno how well the tsx will do lol.. looks like all the winning cars are miatas and wrx... but some dude in a Sentra came in and kicked ass with 2nd place. I really want to know what is in that sentra.

True, forgot about your frozen pedal bidness . Mine's a bit spongey right now too, but I'm gonna install BBK soon so I'm gonna flush the system while I'm at it with Honda fluid. I don't mind this brake fluid flush interval much since the Honda fluids aren't that expensive.

Lol Sentra. Maybe it was turbo'd and weight reduction. The older Sentras give a very lightweight impression when I look at them. Might be the small bubbly exterior similar to a Miata or something lol

You'll probably see theost improvement from a full flush and bleed, regardless of what fluid you go with. It sounds like what you've got now is garbage so just getting new fluid without air in the system will be night and day different.

The higher performance fluids are more hygroscopic and would require more frequent flushing. Like, at least yearly and perhaps more frequent.

Start with clean OEM fluid and see if you even need to upgrade. Pads, rotors, lines, fluid. That's the order you want to upgrade.

Oh, and you're not going to win autox with the tsx. Just have fun racing yourself.

well, my master cylinder needs replacing.

spongy pedal and freezing pedal both are syptoms of that.

Brakes are in, fluid is flushed / bled ( all new), pads are in. They stop real nice but it still gets progressively spongy as the pedal travels. Also i had FROZEN pad. inner driver side. wtf.

Hey all the VBP guys, do your door sills have blue laminate on them? And is this something that is just like when buying a new phone And there is the protective film that you take off or is it actually supposed to just be blue?

Also, any idea what this is?? Found it in the engine bay while washing the car.

Ya, the blue laminate is there when you get the car from the factory. No reason to leave it on.

Black cap looks like the negative terminal cover from a new battery. Toss it, don't need it now that the battery is installed.

Good idea!

So I painted the bottom half of the walls in my garage, what do you guys think? It was pretty easy and only took a couple hours to finish.

The TSX is an extra goody! :P

Idk man.. I had Acura install it when I bought the car in Florida. If I remember correctly my fronts are like 40% or something. When the officer came back to my car he said "Im giving you a warning for the tint, and here is the citation for 81 in a 70"... Really? No one gets pulled over for doing that on a highway.

It's cray though.. in the notes he wrote that he clocked me at 79 and 81 from 1078ft away with a laser that's soooooo far away!

If there's no traffic on the highway and you're not with a pack of other guys speeding, you're gonna get booked.

People get booked here for 10 km/h over the speed limit. 10 mph is plenty. Sorry to hear bro

The thing is there was traffic all around me.. There are boxes that he checked

Rural highway
2 lanes
Heavy traffic

I'm just mad that the first thing he said was my tint was illegal when it was dark outside, and said I was lying to him that it was from the factory. If any other regular sedan was going that speed he wouldn't have pulled them over...

Oh well sorry to rant, I know that the types of mods I have done can attract the wrong attention sometimes. Oh well.. The price to pay for #whineanddine

31 over lol. that's ALMOST 50 km/h over (49.9 km/h), and if you do that here your car gets impounded.

I once got pulled over in a college parking lot, cop said I was doing 50mph, but the lot was only like 1000ft long. Cop threatened to impound my car for 30 days, but ended up giving me a verbal warning.

Yeah I took it to a new found buddy I just met at the shop where I was replacing my clutch who just so happens to be a technician at Acura .. He hooked my car up to his fancy thingamajig at the dealership and traced the problem to a blown fuse.. Cost me 5 dollars to fix.. I gave him 20 for the trouble
