I did it. Just run a single wire from the cig outlet hot wire(or any constant on hot wire) and run it to the hot wires in the trunk for the reverse lights. Put switch somewhere in between. Easy cake.

Some dumb fucker was so close to me on the way home that I couldn't even see his headlights. flashed the brake lights like 5 times at him and still didn't get the message to back off.

Here's what I would've done:

Speed up a bit, but keep letting him tailgate your ass. If his headlights aren't even visible in your rear view mirror, there's a chance he can't really see much in front of you. It also means that any sudden movements you make, he likely won't be able to match them/react to them.

Hope that you're approaching a car in front of you that's pretty slow. If you're comfortable doing this, change lanes really suddenly and very last-second ish, so that the guy behind you gets fucked and hits the car that was in front of you.

Call me an asshole, but I've done this to someone before that wouldn't get off my ass and I did not feel sorry for the guy who was tailing me. Call me crazy, but I feel like he deserved it.

Yeah there was an accident. Felt like GTA, I just continued driving off like nothing happened. I did feel bad for the innocent car that got hit. It all happened pretty quickly though... you could probably imagine the rage I was in when the fucker was tailgating me like no tomorrow. I forgot to mention, I usually change lanes and not deal with this sorta thing, but the guy actually had the nerve to change with me and continued to stalk me. Needless to say, he deserved wrecking the entire front of his car. IIRC, the car that got hit was an SUV, so it was probably just a minor dent or two; no biggie

PS: I probably shouldn't be advocating for iCrap or anyone to do what I did; it was all in the spur of the moment. I don't intend on doing that again, but I still believe the guy deserved it

lol, I might just do this. But what DID happen though is there was a slower car in front of me, i sped up and past him (i hit top of 2nd... so like 80ish) and the fucker FOLLOWED ME.

Im gonna use your method next time. I feel like if i did that in this situation the guy behind me probably would have hit the car in front.

Car covers suck cause dirt and dust and crap gets stuck between the car and the cover and grinds into the paint = more scratches.

DIY! Buy a filtech filter (OEM Honda with A01 suffix) and change the oil yourself to whatever you like . I went with Mobil1 fully synthetic 0w-20 oil on my first oil change (5% oil life at ~9000km).

It may not feel like much savings to do it yourself, since the oil change isn't going to cost much and will likely take less time at the dealer. But, I like having the peace of mind that comes from changing the oil properly, and I'll only know that for sure if I did it myself. Plus the experience gained (if you've never done it before) is priceless.

but yea, if there gonna make you pay then do it yourself. OR go to a Honda dealer, they will do it for under $30. Acura wants like $70 or some bullshit.
