Antec Earthwattts is still around but they don't make high wattage stuff.
XFX I think only has one model with is the same as the SeaSonic... the 750w i think.
Hahaha I want thaaa booost
It's such a pain in the ass re-installing the OS. Then you gotta waste so much time re-installing all of your programs too
And I have to redownload all of my torrented programs too haha
So I thought you would be more concerned with RAM/Video graphics card when editing pics and vids rather than HDD??

RAM and graphics are a must for photo/video editing, but often times the HDD is the bottleneck. It really depends what operations you're performing.
Times for starting applications, opening files, startup/shutdown should all improve with an SSD. They all involve reading files from disk (and sometimes writing files to disk) which is a very slow operation (hence why we have memory). Rendering of photos/videos typically go directly to the GPU for processing, which is why it's nice to have a good graphics card. Not having enough RAM is a different story. Having more RAM prevents memory from getting full as quickly. However, when that does occur, allocation of new memory requires saving/swapping active memory regions onto disk to make room for the new allocations of memory, which as you could imagine, is slow. What makes things worse is, if that region of memory that got swapped onto disk is now required, the OS will have to load it back up from disk and swap it back into memory with something else. Usually you run into this scenario by having too many applications opened.

^^ That's my old one
This is my current one

I only have 16gb though
Yeah just set primary boot device to the SSD.
multiple drives are the best... I have 2 for boot (SSDs) 2 for data and 2 for backup. Speed and redundancy.

welp fuck!
Came home today... and no power again. Not sure if this shit happened over night or what. I can't even remember if I shut it down :0
What the hell is going on with my PSU all of a sudden. I always have all of my computer shit plugged into my back up battery/surge protector?? What could be causing this?? I have an overhead light on my desk that turns off with a normal switch and it makes my audio pop, and sometimes my monitors flicker but never had any problem with computer tower itself. And why would this new one break in less than 24hrs when the other one lasted 5 months under the same conditions??

so took the new PSU apart and it looked flawless...
Moved my entire computer to another location without surge protection, and only hooked up 20+4 pin connecter to mother board and the shit turns on.
WTF?! I hate electricity. What's going on here?!

also how long have you had it?
I solved the problem! Your power is getting lost in the Bermuda Triangle...or Illuminati.
lol... uninterrupted power supply... so like your battery back up and surge protector if you have one.
The science here is undeniable, you must be right!

And oops.... just cleared my inbox
Today, Im gunna hook everything up internally to the PSU and try to power on the computer again and see if it starts the computer and not just the motherboard. If that works Im, going to swap back to my old PSU and try to boot up again still plugged directly into the wall without a surge protector. Then hopefully that means something fiiiiiiiissssshhhhyyyy is going on with my surge protector, limiting power to my PC!
I use double sided tape and the flat mount that they use in the display box when you buy it new. It actually works really well. I would show you guys but all my edited gopro video is in a project file on my stupid computer that's down...
Yeah I had it plugged into that shit when it started acting weird. But, I have had it plugged into that thing for like 5 months now with no problems, and the other devices that are plugged into it don't seem to be having a problem. (The UPS as you call it is 6 years old now).

And yea if your UPS is 6 years old that may be a problem also. they don't really last that long.
dood you should totally send me one
I did it directly on my paint, but never left it for more than a few hours.. The tape never really "hardens" and adheres completely in that short of time... I really just don't trust suction cups, especially highway driving. I've thought about maybe tying some fishing line and attaching it to my door handle for extra security haha, but I never did it.
that automotive adhesive is very strong.. I wouldn't recommend it if you care about your paint or the body work in general if you're going to be doing this often
all your emblems are held on with 3m 2 sided tape.
ts made to be safe and removable forever/
now YES they do make about 800 kinds of 2 sided tape but ANY of the 3M automotive tapes are made to be removed safely.
Granted if you want to heat gun, remove, and polish the residue off each time, then by all means! There's only so much clearcoat your car has with each polish. Notice in my post I mentioned if you do this often
Is this what you used?
Automotive Tape 3M Acrylic Plus Double Sided Attachment Tape OEM 3M part # 3M 06384 (Listed by Mystarsound.com): Auto Double Sided Tape: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific
This is the stuff I have
3M Scotch Extreme Mounting Double Sided Tape Holds 20 lbs Pounds Heavy Objects | eBay
pretty sure that would would never come off.
I dunno about taping it on there... I have heard the gopro suction mount is so strong that people use it to pull out dents. And when I was at the track people had them mounted to their cars while going 150-170mph and no GoPros were lost.

Yeah that first one is the one I have used with no problem.
To each their own, suction cups scare me.. but thats me. I don't see any residue with the tape and it comes off fairly easily with some floss and no heat.
I was just tellin you what I use. I think you can see a pic on instagram. click on it under my username!

I've never had my suction mount fall off. If you properly mount it by cleaning off the area in which you're mounting it to, you should have no problems. Now if you're like the friend of mine that I let borrow and just put it on the car without cleaning the area, it'll just fall off. He was only exiting the parking lot and it fell off before he even got out lol
